So difficult to transfer photos to my phone!

This should be so straightforward: set up WiFi, select photos, hit download. Setting up the WiFi isn’t intuitive, nor is selecting the photos, and forget about downloading. I’ve only gotten it to work twice.

I can get the app to connect to my Pentax k-1 and while it is VERY slow, the remote capture works fine! But still, no matter how hard I try I can only view the thumbnails! I Can’t download ANY of the images.
DO NOT update to v2.0! Nonfunctional.

The previous version was clunky but functional. This version does not work with my K-70. App takes 30-60s to load any thumbnails, will only load the most recent 30 images, and refuses to download any files to my iPhone. Oh, and then the app hangs. Ricoh, please fix this app - I love Pentax cameras but this level of incompetence with app development is unacceptable.

How do you make a barely functioning app work worse? Ask Ricoh. For the love of all things decent don’t upgrade to this app. As awful as the old version is, at least it works. Version 2.0 will not transfer any photos and will drain your battery like a bullet hole in a fish tank. Now I gotta find a way to revert to the old version and something tells me that’s not going to be easy. Run away friends, run away.

If there are two cards in the slot, 2nd card won't read and display images. Transfer abort when phone screen locks. This is a buggy version should not push to Prod.

With the new update my pentax K-70 can’t seem to work with this app. Prior to the update it worked fine. However, now I try to connect my camera and it sits there spinning trying to load my images and most times won’t do it. If it does finally connect I try to transfer an image and it freezes up and won’t transfer. I would not update until the bugs are fixed if you haven’t already updated

I can’t transfer photos from my iphone ( ios 12.0) after updating Image Sync to version 2.0. App became too slow and unresponsive, so fix it, please. Remote shooting still doesn’t work with my GRII. I need to use web GR remote.
Simply doesn’t work anymore

Prior to the 2.0 update, the app was finicky and awkward to use but it at least worked. Now, the app simply doesn’t work, period. The thumbnails won’t load, I cannot transfer any of my photos from my GR ii to my iPhone, and it has become an absolute disappointment. Ricoh, please fix this. It’s a shame that I now cannot use the very feature that was supposed to make upgrading to a GR ii worth it.
