I love using this app in all kinds of situations...dancing, reading, meditation, visiting... It is truly multipurpose. And it's really cool that I don't have to leave my device on anymore. Thank you so much!
Requires sync, can’t solely use a microphone

If you, like me, wanted an app to simply use the mic to monitor and display a color show then you should look elsewhere. I didn’t want to get into the confusing mess of logging into Spotify or Apple Music which I see as highly unnecessary when I simply want to monitor the music I’m already playing! So I skipped this one, it doesn’t do the simple task I require.
Almost never works. Total wast of time and $

Sonos sync very buggy

The advertised Sonos sync feature doesn’t engage reliably and requires hard reboots etc. But it should be said, this is the only app that has the feature at all, so good on them for that.

After the 1.13.x update the app seems to only actually run lights for one song with the most recent Spotify setup where before it played / displayed for and ‘endless’ time frame. Now, Spotify plays in uninterrupted and iLightShow works for that song. Then.... all dark. I restart the iLightShow app and flip across the the functions on the bottom a few times and stop on ‘home’ then the lights ‘magically’ start working until this song is over. I rebooted the controller. I powered off the lights and rest them. I dropped one from the controller to re-register it, I rebooted my iPhone 7. All the same results. ILightShow is a one song app. That’s it. #MakeILSGreatAgain

You want to use more than one light? To bad you guy to spend like $6 to use more than one light. Also it didn’t even work with one light! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP! AGAIN DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP AND MAKE THIS GUY RICH! 0/100000000000000000000000000000

It used to be a great app. It doesn't work in the background anymore, and because of that it's become much less useful

Doesn’t work as I would like; make sure your battery is charged because if you close your phone the light show ends.
