The fan works amazingly well. However, the app is about as smooth as a Sherman tank. Easily the most cumbersome app I’ve used. When I click to edit a temperature it take 3-4 seconds before it pops up to type it in. It works but it’s painfully unresponsive.

Been using iKamand 2 for 2.5 months and it works well. I was having some connectivity issues that were solved by setting up separate 2.4g network. I like it best for long, low and slow cooks. For things that cook in 1 - 2 hours I prefer manually controlled temperature. The text notifications are also a nice feature.

I spent what felt like an entire day messing with this.....never worked. When I returned it to BBQ Guys, getting my money back was equally as painful and difficult. What a waste of my time. Wish I could rate zero (or negative) stars.

I’ve been using iKammand for well over a year. It works great. Make sure to close the vent all the way down and close the top vent almost all the way down. The fan on the iKammand will keep the pit temp steady. If you leave the vents too open, it cannot keep the temp from climbing too high. I also love that you can log all your sessions and keep notes on them for next time if you want to change anything it’s all right there.

I’ve used this 3 times this week and have not been disappointed. Highly recommend for anyone using the Kamado Grills.

I’m always having difficulty connecting to the system and Kamado Joe has yet to reply to my email that I sent out months ago. At this point I don’t feel this was worth the $250 expense.

Towards the last 3 hours of my cook. The app started operating at a very slow speed. My temperature probe on the food would reach my desired temp then it would drop 4 degrees. This happened for a solid 45 minutes.
