IGTV NEEDS this one feature

Instagram continues to dominate the social media scene and is even working its way now into dominating the media scene as well with IGTV. HOWEVER, if you do not give users the option to follow someone without giving them a secondary option to unfollow from IGTV, mute Stories, and mute Posts. There are options right now to 1.) mute stories and 2). Mute stories and posts. But what if someone wants options other than those? It’s SO restricting. Many people will start unfollowing their favorite accounts just because there IGTV is annoying. There is no option right now to distinguish IGTV account follows from Instragram post and story follows. Give us the freedom and the options please. IGTV has huge potential with these options added.

This IGTV stand-alone app and the IGTV logo in the Instagram app is well implemented. Easy to navigate, easy to upload your own vertical videos. No pageantry required. I am seeing this app giving YouTube some trouble in the future. Kindly update the app for iPhone X don’t know how a new app can be release and doesn’t accommodate iPhone X

I like the direction of this but let’s get serious! It’s 2018 and you guys still don’t have an iPad app nor horizontal and vertical viewing! It would be nice to have another platform for creators outside of YouTube. But until you have these features and a desktop option you’re not a real player!

i personally think the idea of igtv is rlly cool and i’m glad it’s there ppl have more of a chance to see my videos it’s so cool keep up the good work and also i think it’s super cool that u can post up to an hour of content best thing ever!!!!
Cool, but wont take over Youtube

Definitely a cool way for creators mainly based on IG to expand BUT- the design on IGTV is not intuitive at all in comparison to Youtube. Plus, horizontal video will always have an advantage over vertical video.

It is good but I was trying to get a video and the video wasn’t even showing up so I could upload.
You can’t upload on IPhone

It doesn’t work properly on IPhone. You can upload videos and it doesn’t carry over video from other account like the Android app does. So far, it’s a fail.
