Awesome calendar for busy mom of three love the different color blocks. Easy and quick to schedule events.

ICalendar

Love this app. HOWEVER, every once in a while, EVERYTHING gets deleted! It is sooo frustrating because i depend on this app a lot to keep me organized but how can I be organized when everything I’ve put in there gets deleted!

Used to be my absolute favorite

This is still great but I hate the new color schemes. The new theme colors are ugly. I wish you could customize your theme color. Please bring back the pretty pastel colors!

Great until it wasn’t

I’ve been using this for our family calendar for years - we’ve all loved the ease of use, ability to copy and paste multiple times, but especially the custom color coding. I have four people’s schedules to coordinate and a business on top. Color coding everything was paramount. I had custom colors set for all the calendars. After this last update I’m locked into a list of preset colors for some reason. I can’t use my previous colors or even set favorite colors - it’s just a small palate and that’s it. I also can’t change from local calendar to google calendar once an appt is saved. This is particularly difficult since it added “local” calendar with the same name as my family calendar - I ended up putting several appts in under the local calendar. When I went in to change it to the correct google calendar, it would only show local calendars as options for me to switch it to. What was a great app needs serious work to get it back to great again.

Map won’t work

I love the I calendar and all the features that it has been since three or four updates ago the map does not work without four or five resets and now it won’t load at all and he doesn’t give you the option to select another map application so due to this for all the years I got out of the app it is officially in effective.

Best Calendar App... minus one thing

This is the best calendar app out there and I've recommended it to many people. For the first year or so that I had it, it was flawless. Allows you to color code your calendars which really helps us over-busy individuals keep up! However, recently I've had trouble with the widget -- it says unable to load. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and restarted my phone multiple times but no change. Would be a 5-star rating otherwise.

Love the layout...but....

After purchasing the in app tv shows etc....can’t find anyway to remove the tv show once it has been added and thus can’t stop all the VERY ANNOYING reminders. Suggestions!? Edited to add......Thanks for your great customer support. Was able to delete tv show and reminders! Thanks. Rating changed to 5 stars.

The best calendar app out in the market

I've tried fantastical 2 which everyone boasts about. Although the UI is nice, the features are just about the same as any mediocre calendar app you can find. With iCalendar, I have events that are specifically for school, work, personal and they offer the ability to set templates. As to fantastical and Calendar App provided by Apple. You can't do that, you're set with that color based on the default color for the calendar you choose to sync it with. However, you're only able to set colors for the template for both local and synced calendars BUT direct synced accounts are allowed limited colors. Local calendars can choose any color they desire which I would like this option for both local and synced calendars. So if you want to color coordinate with more options for colors, I would suggest using local calendars. For instance, I access my google calendar by syncing it through my phone instead of directly through iCalendar only. Doing both can update your calendar faster and you won't see duplicates. There are far more flexibilities iCalendar as far as color and choosing which format you'd like to view the calendar. The 3D Touch shows which events exist for the day but even the widget does the same too. You can instantly add an event grouch either or use Siri. I noticed Fantastical wouldn't allow me to use Siri to add an event or task. So by the fraction off the cost for these so called well "developed" apps, I love iCalendar. Also you can email/print your calendars!!! Something Fantastical doesn't offer. Update: would be nice if I could select default app for maps since I don't always have Apple Map.

iCalendar

Have previously side iCalendar on both iPad and iPhone. Excellent in every respect--ease of use, interface, flexibility, and ease of syncing several interesting calendars with iCal. Tried some others recently and they were "OK". Disappointed that badge for today's date has been removed. Will return to using iCal if restored.
