Thought I would check back and see what iCab is like these days. 7 reviewers of the latest update. Looks like people have gone elsewhere. Was getting a lot of crashes on my iPad mini 3. They seem to have gone away. Might be double the ram or iCab but either way is good. Still does not respond to touch well. That's a killer. Back to Safari or one of the new browsers I'm about to try. Still a lot of crashing. I keep trying to love this app but continue to go elsewhere.

Once you tap on the url field, it crashes immediately!! And I can't get past this point. Please fix it so you get back your 5 stars? Ipad 2 IOS 9. Something UPDATE: many thanks to the developer for his quick response and fixing the last update url field problem, it works like a champ now ?

[…UPDATE: As with *All* 3rd-Party Apps, since iOS 4.x, (soon 5.x), the iOS' flaws themselves finally caught-up ... Otherwise, I'm Still Its staunch User/Supporter]. Since iCab first came onto the scene, as a Mac-only Browser, it's been my Browser of Choice, & Default Browser on both my Mac & iTouch (10th Mac/5th iTouch). I've tried All Browsers I come across, always returning to iCab. As other Users already said, once it's Setup by User, in its Settings, it's a Joy to see the Pure Genius of Clauss' Flagship Application's programming; its unobtrusive Functionality, Compatibility (even when websites don't list it as compatible); its (fully-Editable) Search Engine(s); its 198-plus Built-in+User Filters allow you to Browse, while avoiding annoyances. Another extremely important Feature (set of) is the Ability to set it up with your OWN Settings for Privacy, (History, Cache, not just Cookies), and many other Features, stability, Reliability, unlike any other Browser. (Txt Truncated by User). Lastly, Search engine(s): are DELETABLE, and you may enter whatever search Engine, (myself, I'm partial to startpage, or ixquick since they're both secure, proxied Search Engines, (txt truncated)… Apple & Safari Developers could LEARN a thing or two from this German Genius, behind iCab/iCab Mobile. ;).

Great browser. I really like all of the configuration options, you can tweak just about everything. Updates are frequent. So if you have a few bucks tip the dev. It's worth it. ?

I love this browser - and it keeps getting better. There are so many features & options to play with. Nothing else comes close. Also, the developer is super responsive - I reported a problem, and it was fixed the next day in an update!

Icab browser review 10/02/17: Have been with this browser for many years. It has had its ups and downs throughout the year. Sometimes it was buggy. Even now once in a while it crashes. But I just tell you, there has never been a browser like this one throughout the years of iOS. Thank you Alexander for letting us give you donation for your continuous work on this browser. Extra generous in-app purchase / donation given. This browser will continue to expand as iOS continues to be less restrictive on developers.
