Needs some improvement

Maybe I'm not understanding how this app works but I have taken time to try. I assume the app knows the time of year when using the location features, but I'm not sure. And I can't figure out how to find that info if I want to know if the bird might only be somewhere in spring or winter. Also I can't find where the app tells me if the bird is common or rare...kinda important info. Petersons is better, easier, knows where I am, what month it is, and how rare or common the bird is in that location.

Great birding app

I love this app. It is easy to use and the information is in a useful format. I no longer need to carry my bird books while birding. I use this app to keep records of my sightings. I recommend iBird all the time.

Super for newbies

Just started bird-watching during my walks. This app works well off my cell site. I've owned the app for several years and find great features whenever I read the help screens. Don't forget the journal app to record what you see.

Good app

Jcandyfan

Has every bird in my area and easy to search.

Great for Identifying birds!

It works great but must read and understand the instructions. Not totally intuitive to use and therefore must read and understand how to use. I learned that how I used to identify birds with apps was entirely wrong but who wound have known. It is not perfect compared to having an ornithologist guide but I can always have my phone with me (and most places I go have service).

Great design but lacking info

Tjo911

Was a bit disappointed that some info on bird feeding and housing was not more in depth.

Best bird guide ever

I've been walking around with Peterson's Field Guide jammed in my pocket since 1975. This App gives me so so so much more. Noble Proctor taught my ornithology class at Southern Connecticut State College. He taught us that 90% of birding is listening. What I love about this app is that I can actually hear multiple variations of individual bird sounds. Of course the images of the birds are stunning and the range maps are very helpful. This was the best money I ever spent on anything having to do the birding and believe me I have spent a lot.

Very Nice

Nice graphics, lots of photos and sounds. Good search engine. Wish the bird icon gallery could be made bigger e.g option to have 3 columns instead of 4. Maybe have a way to record sounds. Fun and nice looking app.

Absolutely amazing ❤️????????

I love the ibird series of apps. I love ibird ultimate!! I love ibird Hawaii and ibird journal!!!! Ibird ultimate is the best app out on the App Store! I've tried many many bird apps and this one blows the others away! This app is worth every penny spent I purchase ibird ultimate. If you see the ultimate birder bundle get it!!! It includes two apps for free that usually cost a decent amount of money. Saved me a ton of money. Instead of 44 something dollars I paid 20

Great for bird photography

Sometimes the hardest thing to do after photographing a bird is identifying it. I use this app all the time. First I use the search fixture to narrow down the results and then I use the photos to make a choice. Great app!
