Using it a lot

chief_alchemist

After downloading hundreds of apps I end up using only a small number. This is one of the apps I use all the time.

WOW

Old but still the best!

Пожалуй лучший текстовый редактор во всем AppStore

Простой, минималистичный, понятный, удобный, красивый.

Excellent EXCEPT

Pete the bard

It has been turned into an annoying hunk of doggy poo by the trash that wrote it so it always opens with an ad for their "pro" version that has tons of extra features that I will never use. Aside from that it really is an excellent writing tool. The stupid ads have convinced me not to even consider getting the new improved version with its largely useless additions.

Simple writing on the go

Word-Coach

If you're looking for whistles and bells, go elsewhere. If you want simple text only documents then this is much better than other apps out there. The screen is clean (like a fresh sheet of typing paper) with no distracting menus, etc. I like it's ease of use, auto save, multiple docs (and I DO have more than a dozen going at once) plus iCloud and DropBox integration (along with multiple "export" options through email). I use iWriter to get the details, framework, or research done while I'm on the go. No distractions with formatting or other features that I prefer to concentrate on during end-state writing. Have been using it for several years and always pleased. Never had docs "lost." Do wish I could easily italicizes when writing bibs, though.

Good App...iPad version needs some work.

ronsanman

This is a very good app for writing, and while I would love to and could easily give it 5 stars, I regretfully can only give it 3. Why? I use it with my iPad quite often and when I first downloaded it, it showed a "red line" correction which made it easy to note misspellings. It does this fine on my MacBook, but the iPhone and iPad apps...no such luck. If that were fixed, I would use it all of the time and would hesitate to change my rating.

Do not collect our usage

bitfiddler

I love the app, it's been my favorite for years across many versions. Seriously looking for a replacement I can trust not to track usage or anything else I don't specifically consent to; I find it highly objectionable and unacceptable for it to do so.

Great product!

I've used iWriter for a couple years at least, and like it very much! It's simple and straightforward, but it allows you to format and select fonts also, so you can email nice looking documents that you can be proud of!

Love this app!

Debbietrek

This app is very handy for my needs. I take my LG tablet or my iPad mini to meetings and take notes, then I upload to Dropbox and can use those notes on my laptop at home. I use Kingsoft's Word program and my notes convert seamlessly. I love the convenience.

The only way to write on iPhone or iPad

ATsquirrel

I have used writer for many budgets, invoices, artist statements, proposals... Anything that requires time and several drafts i usually write with writer ap. it constantly saves with every change. It has ability to backspace without deleting, something that makes typing on a touch screen so much more viable.
