Tainted Qi - Don’t waste your time

My husband downloaded this for some reason. He obviously didn’t read all the negative, but correct reviews. Gouging product. If you like a squeaky high pitched bell, and a single uninspired graphic, you’ll love it. Otherwise you’ll have to pay for the sounds. Why they aren’t just upfront and charge you for the complete package from the get go, I don’t understand. Hiding the upgrade charge just put me off the whole thing. And as I just read the others the prospect of more “upgrades” taking away what you purchased, means this whole company is one to beware of.

Now can't even see how much time your timer has left, or even be sure you activated it. Pulling the logo down to see the options is non-intuitive- previous design made more sense. I don't mind the charging for extra stuff, but no one will buy it if the basic functions don't work.

True dat, it's kind of un cool that the upgrade locked out the sounds, but viewed from another perspective is the entire app worth $.99? I think so! So I'm back to using and...content.

Used to love it. Used it regularly. Now we have to PAY for sounds! Seriously?! HATE IT! When I find a new app, I'll post it here.

I agree with the other user who said just honestly ask for money, don't trick people. Very displeased that I lost the sound I liked best after updating. Will look for another timer because of this.

Developer does not mention you need to pay with an In App Purchase to have the various sounds. Also, it's still buggy-- crashes when playing the sounds.

It basically has a bunch of singing bowls and they sound good and you can play them at the same or different times. The sounds last and it's an awesome app.
Excellent app - but I want a starting bell

In my meditation tradition we sound the bell at both beginning and end of session. Would you please add a starting bell? Or am I missing it?
