Does this app collect information? Are there any terms of use? I’m hoping this is legitimate?

Terrible App

Bought the flash drive and it says to download this app. I downloaded on my iPhone and iPad. When you play music and stop the app becomes unresponsive and you have to go out and close the app, this was on the iPhone. On the iPad when you go into the file app and try to play music the little busy wheel just rotates and the app is frozen, you have to go out and close the app, but the same thing happens when you go back into the app. Terrible App.

Lost all my photos

I bought a 512GB flash drive and had backed up thousands of photos from my phone that was close to dying for good. Got a new phone and continued to back up more photos and videos. Today I plugged in the drive and the app says the capacity is 0.0/4GB. ZERO OUT OF FOUR! All my backed up photos and videos are GONE. I’m livid!!! App support is nonexistent. This is complete bull.

So at first I was really upset thinking that this device doesn’t work, so I tried it on my wife’s phone and it worked on hers so I though maybe it doesn’t support the XS MAX or something. So I plugged it back into my phone and what I did different on hers that I didn’t do on mine is that after you download the app, whenever you plug the device into your phone it asks to allow to send notifications and whatnot. I believe when it asks you all this it also allows the device to access your phone. So when that screen pops up to ask if you allow it to send you alerts, accept it, because after I did that, this thing has actually been a gem ever since! Just note that it never ask on my phone if I wanted to allow it to access my photos or anything, but on my wife’s iphone8 it did prompt that input from her. On my XS MAX it just asked if I want to allow it to send me alerts and notifications. Computer USB port will not read device

And it’s not my computer. The drives read all of your USB items. I’ve tried plugging the device into another computer in the home. I was able to install all of the pictures from my phone onto the device - but not able to move the pictures to my computer as I’d hoped. Waste of time and waste of money.

I was so excited about how this seemed to work but just now looking for a file on my computer and so many of the photos are in a format that doesnt work on a non apple computer!!!! Now I am worried those photos will be lost as I have already removed them from my phone! What the heck is .HEIC?!

When I first got this, I had no problems. Photos and video imported immediately and easily. Last import was in January. Went to import photos and videos today and can’t get them to load onto the flash drive. Have spent almost 2 hours trying. Deleted and reloaded app. No difference. Very disappointed.
