UPDATE 2: Would rate zero stars if possible. Was contacted by developer after derating the app. Was advised I could continue to use the app with expired maps, just need to tap cancel on the warning. Advised I will not change my rating. The purchase of the maps was not represented to me as a subscription that I would have to renew each year. Where I use the app I do not need to purchase updated maps. However the app requires me to tap cancel and dismiss a warning EVERY TIME I change an activity, start navigation, end navigation, etc. And the button suggesting purchase (suggesting I have not already spent my money) appears perpetually on the screen like I'm using a lite version. I paid for premium features and now being penalized for choosing not to purchase an update. This is dishonest and misleading. The developer should have sold this upgrade as an annual subscription. At least that way I know what I'm getting into. Otherwise, they need to shut down the warning messages after the first time the warning is cancelled, or offer a way to disable the upgrade warnings in the settings. UPDATE: Suddenly every time I turn to navigation I get a message saying maps are outdated and I have to buy new ones. Don't want them, don't want to spend the money, but can't find a way to disable the message. Guess I'm looking for a new app now. Doesn't seem to be the most user friendly app. I'm accustomed to my Humminbird fish finder/chart plotter in my old boat. New boat has built in depthfinder and I won't be fishing with it so I would like a phone app that can chart the lake contours for me to help avoid underwater obstacles and assist with nighttime navigation to and from a beachfront campsite. Played around a little with waypoints and routes at camp, but haven't had a chance to try driving with the app yet. Too early for a review, but I was prompted to rate the app already so here I am. If it's good I won't hesitate to pay for the premium model, but it has to be good, and I don't see it yet.

Great navigation App.. I'm still learning how to use all the features and I love being able to enlarge specific locations. Much better than paper charts!!

I have been testing out the "lite" versions of many marine navigation apps and this app has the best chart representations so far. The app is also very responsive and maps tracks nicely. Creating and importing tracks and waypoints is very easy.

Good app, a little hard to figure out at first for a beginner
