Hype TAPP is free iOS app published by heng wan

Don't waste your time. The App itself goes into an infinite update loop so you can never get to the point where you can start it. Plus the network connection adapter requires a hard wired connection to a router - in this day and age everything should connect wirelessly. This product is completely useless.

App keeps getting hung up on "Updating Firmware". Left it to update over night and nothing. App freezes and cannot move forward until you foreclose app and restart, must beat the app before message pops up again in order to use bulbs

When the app stays connected to the bulbs, they work fine. But they disconnect from the gateway ALL THE TIME, and the app is hardly user friendly. Additionally, the app version is now so out of date that it will no longer function as of the next iOS update. Get with the program, Hype!! Or maybe quit selling products when you've abandoned support. Only just got these two bulbs as a Christmas gift and I wish I could get my money back.

You can tell that this company abandoned this product long ago, but now it’s completely incompatible with iOS 11. Update your app so I can turn my lights on. We’ve had such a rough time using these lights from the beginning, not only is the app shoddy, but the usb connector to the base can barely stay in. These products were made in China and overpriced and sold to good people who don't deserve this type of crud in their home. Update it and completely overhaul this so I can be proud to represent your product Otherwise it’s going in a landfill

Wouldn't Bluetooth pair with any Apple device. Tried two iPhones and iPad no joy. Pair with my PC but no app. ? URL for support has a blank page. Glad I only paid two bucks for this.

These bulbs and the hub have been rendered useless in iOS 11. Although I doubt I will get a response. At least I did not pay retail for this junk... Maybe I can run the app on one of the older iPhones I’ve got around the house...
