Wow!! Lots of fun!

Classic centipede game reinvented. A very beautiful game and smooth gameplay. I recommend it highly. Great job

Almost there
Funky Funch

This game is almost there, but the control of the shooter needs work. Specifically, the shooter is slow to respond to movements of the finger controlling it. Once fixed, this will be a 5 star game but until then, the gameplay suffers.

Great graphics, poor sound, similar to Centipede
M A 4

I love the graphics and am glad I bought the game. The sounds are very simple and not up to the polished level of the graphics, though. I can't give it 5 stars without better sound. It's not exactly a Centipede clone, because everything (I mean everything) that you shoot turns gray and drops, and you try to collect as many as possible as they fall, to earn points/powerups. I think the gray "dead" things should maybe be transparent or pulse or something, because in the heat of battle it's hard to tell what's "dead" and catchable vs. what's a threat to avoid. But you do get used to the difference as you play: basically anything "falling" is GOOD, except for spiders, and the purple mushrooms that the bosses throw. If you've played a lot of Galaga-type games, your instinct is that falling stuff is enemy fire to be avoided; get over that and learn to catch them! Also, it has big frog bosses; I don't recall big bosses in Centipede. So this is Centipede-like but not a total clone, and I like that. Finger control does feel a bit odd--I'm not sure it really interferes with play, and it's not a deal-breaker, but your character doesn't precisely follow your finger, in the following two ways: 1. It has a speed limit. If you move your finger super fast, it has to catch up to you. This is OK by me, and consistent with the limit you'd have playing Centipede with a trackball. Some would call this "lag" but I wouldn't: you only hit the limit in a blatant way when you try to move really fast. Your character is by no means slow. 2. It only moves in 8 directions, seemingly, instead of moving directly towards/with your finger. In practice, that means it starts every little movement with a 45-degree diagonal motion that catches up to your vertical position. Then it slides straight horizontally the rest of the way. All this happens vey fast, and it almost feels like a kind of grid-snap on the character, but it's really a "direction-snap." You can get used to this, and it's more distracting that actually being a big problem. But if the character moved straight toward your finger at any angle, that might feel better? Note that if you use an iCade, 8-way control is expected. iCade control feels pretty good (although not the same as trackball Centipede of course).

Fun!
The Skippay

Great on the icade! The only thing I would ask for is to be able to off the auto fire. Would like the option to hit the fire button myself.

Good game, hate the soundz!!!!!
Rojoyinc

The explosion as you get hit is nasty.... How about a bug splat? Snails and many other bugz make no sound... The water drip, sound while shooting is ok, but gets annoying. Why can't we control firing? Why the auto fire? Really needs work on the audio effects!!! I bought it due to it supporting iCade. I buy most all icade games!!! With bettter suited, and more sounds I would update this to 5 stars. Spiders and snails need suitable sound. Explosion at the end makes no sense. It's not a space game.

No audio?
Brakeme

Might be a bug. Yes my volume is up and there is nothing in my audio jack. Looks like a good game but no audio detracts severely. I pad 2 latest update...
