Always deletes downloads

The app always deletes the episodes I download without reason. Please fix this

This app is garbage. Requiring a paying user to scroll through 600 episodes to get to the one they want is a waste of that user's time. I gave it a chance, hoping for some app improvements,before giving up on it but it's not worth the $$ or headache.

They finally worked out the bugs and it's now a great podcast app. The original content is great plus it's very easy to search for your favorite people on earwolf podcasts. Well worth the $5 a month in my opinion. Also if you like game of thrones and hardcore history you have to listen to Hardcore Game of Thrones.

Randomly starts playing?

Could be a great app if it didn't start randomly playing back audio at any given moment. Little embarrassing to have your phone in a work meeting start to play back a podcast you were listening to. Totally random playback, don't even have to touch the phone, it just starts playing back.

Wanted to support Earwolf, but...

I love Comedy Bang-Bang and wanted to support Earwolf, but this app is disappointing. First of all, the layout, while slightly better than the Apple podcast app, is clunky. To be fair, I haven’t found a very good podcast app for IOS (Podcast Addict on Droid may not super slick, but it has the best search and sorting functions IMO). I listened to some of the Howl Exclusives, and they are ok. Nothing really stands out, but it’s all new, so maybe in time the content will improve. I really enjoyed the Specials, but if you purchased the Comedy Bang-Bang live package a couple years ago, there isn’t much you haven’t heard. If you pause something and leave Howl running in the background it will decide to play on it’s own. I’ll come back in a few months and see if they’ve fixed the issues and hopefully be able to update this review.

I just downloaded this app after playing with a lot of other podcast apps. Love the freshness of the design, and the content they have is awesome. I hope it allows me to pull in all of the shows i like in the near future.

…have I found something that speaks to me so wholly as a person, a human, and a world citizen. In all seriousness, this is a beautiful app that makes it easy to listen to some of my favorite shows like Comedy Bang Bang, How Did This Get Made, and I Was There Too.

Awesome content. Would love weekly auto-playlists of starred shows, and as others have mentioned better download management in general. Keep it up!
