Gives pin error upon first time creation. Needs bug fix or nobody will be able to even try out this app.
This app only works if your company enrolls and gives you a PIN. Don't waste your time downloading this if you are just average "I want to better myself".
A well designed app. Easy to set up breaks. Challenges bring out competitiveness in my colleagues. Variety of breaks keeps it fresh. Look is beautiful and is intuitive to use. Those occasional cheeky messages make me laugh. I've used it for a couple months now and I'm hooked. Hotseat++.
The designers of this app have gone out of their way to make it simple, intuitive and fun. Tons of exercises to choose from, clear descriptions, simple icons and irreverent humor peppered throughout. You need your employer to sponsor the app in order to get a pin to access it. But with wellness being such a hot topic to drive down healthcare costs and increase productivity it should be a no brainer. Now I've gotta go do my desk pushups!
Unlike a simple timer to remind you to take a break from sitting, Hotseat gets you moving. Easy to setup, fun and motiving. The short, active breaks immediately give you a burst of energy. The many exercise choices provide variety and challenge. Highly recommend for anyone stuck sitting at a desk.
This app is a fun, easy, and effective way to get us all up and moving throughout the day. With all the reports about how bad sitting all day is for us, I couldn't wait to give this a try! There are many varied and fun activities within each category (cardio, strength, stretching), and they can really be a workout in 2 minutes! The activities are clearly described, you get lots of choices and options, and the app looks great. My only problem is that it works too well -- in that it reminds me how engrossed in my work, and thus lazy and sedentary, I can be during the day -- because I don't always feel like getting up and taking my breaks!
Often criticized by coworkers for rarely leaving my desk, HotSeat has me skipping around the office and breaking up meetings to encourage a healthy 2 minutes of pretend hula hooping. Fun and effective.... Will be spreading the word! Sedentary stinks, HotSeat rocks.
This simply fits into my daily life without me thinking about it. Even on my laziest days I found myself getting at least SOME activity!
