I use to use this app every day. Now they charge for coupons. Lame. Now it’s just another subscription you end up paying more in the long run even if you save a bit for the first couple months.

Why would I pay to save money...??? LOL So instead of the $ going to the store it goes to an app instead??? Aren’t you guys making $ off of advertising for these restaurants??? Was great before gold “option”, now you can’t access anything without paying for the app. Deleted. man companies these days sure know how to lose quality and loyalty. 6 mos from now: Hooked goes bankrupt ✌️

Hooked deals was a great app for coupons until they recently changed to start requiring a paid membership to get most deals.

Hooked was a great app - actually probably the best. They should have stuck to ad revenue. Inventing hooked gold and charging monthly for the better deals will be the death of them, and unfortunately the death of the extra business gained by the businesses promoting through hooked. Get rid of hooked gold while the app is still popular.

The new gold option is stupid and saves you now money. Pay $40 to save $5 and get a free $2 soda? Doesn’t make sense

I LOVED Hooked. I used it almost every day and it was an amazing app for the deals you’d get! I have to admit though, now that you have to PAY a monthly subscription just to unlock the deals you did previously for FREE, I’m not supporting this app anymore. A $4 monthly subscription fee for the same exact deals I got previously when the app was free. Lost my business for sure!

I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years and I’ve saved more than $1000 on food! Lots of restaurants come and go, but the Hooked Team is great at bringing In additional restaurants. The deals are sometimes stale but they always fine a way to improve offers.

I usually use this app a lot but I was disappointed to see the new hooked gold subscription go into play. Basically, any deal with a savings above $2 is inaccessible unless you’re a payed subscriber now. From what I can see, it’s not that you’re getting new and better deals but that you’re losing deals you used to get just for being a hooked user. I logged out and deleted the app because I don’t need another subscription.

Instead of creating new, better deals for the gold monthly subscription, Hooked hid several of their pre-existing deals (popular ones too) behind a paywall. There’s no new incentive to get gold, you’re just paying more to get what you had before for free. Not interested.

Get rid of Gold

????

Hooked used to be great, until they added Hooked Gold. They didn’t add any new deals, they just locked away the good deals for those who pay for Hooked Gold. It’s not worth it anymore. I wouldn’t even break even some months. I’ll be glad to re-download if they get rid of Hooked Gold.
