Seems fun, but after a few days, the puzzles get to a difficultly level where you have to either be extremely patient and committed, or else pay-to-play.

I love the new makeover event but the tasks cost WAY too much. I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish before it’s over.

I’ve been a fan of HS for years but dang, this whole “makeover the ugly girl” special event is such a terrible and toxic message to send to people. You’re presented with a brown hair, brown eyes, glasses wearing young girl with acne wearing idk, “dark academia “ styled clothes. Through the course of the makeover (or until I was too sick of them to continue ) you cut her hair, remove her glasses (to change her eye color!), do a face mask, and change her clothes to a crop top and skirt. The woman “helping” literally says “the ugly ducking look you were going for is gone!” What kind of messaging is this sending to users, especially young women? That they have no value if they wear glasses or have acne? Or dress modestly? How did this ghastly event pass through writing, animation, marketing and development????? Take away from the subconscious damage you’re inflicting on young girls (and telling young boys that THIS is what is valued) and JFC, what does a makeover have to do with home building and decor?! It’s not even on brand. After over 3100 levels played, I have to admit I’m so appalled I spent money on this game if this is what purchasing goes to support. I won’t be playing or purchasing from this game again if this is the kind of content they’re pushing on people. An apology needs to be issued as this was such a terrible idea and contributes to the toxic environment young girls and women are subjected to regarding their value as a human being tied to how they look. Pretty is not the rent women should have to pay to exist in the world.

The levels are designed for you to pay for more. Sometime I would use a booster and it wouldn’t appear but it would still say I used it… don’t bother unless you want to pay for the game.

If you only give us some many turns for each level then you should give unlimited lives. I’m so close to deleting this because of that.
Rigged to make you spend money

Pre selection of the airplanes only takes away from the amount of airplanes you pay for/earn. Why? Every time I pre select wanting to use the airplane, the airplanes only fly across the board and never stay on the board, yet the next level I go to I have one less “airplane” in the bank. Why? Update- 2 months later, nothing has been done and no response has been given. Don’t spend any money on this game. It’s rigged to make you lose.
