The app really is pretty amazing. I have never seen a learning app engage my children so well and teach them things at the same time. I have already been taught some new thing from my kids that they learned on the homer app about animals and dinosaurs:)

I don’t usually take time to leave reviews, but this app needs one! I am a Kindergarten teacher and a mother of a 3 year old. This is by far the best app around to help build early literacy skills. It has everything! Comprehension, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, phonics, sequencing, story telling, letter recognition, etc. Not only does it have everything, but it makes everything ENGAGING for children. This is my daughter’s favorite app. She does a little bit of her pathway every week, and she has learned so much in just the month that we have had it. As a teacher, my recommendation is to train your children to use the pathway and not just choose random videos on the app. Although those are good, too, the pathway is where the learning takes place. If there was a way to utilize this for all of my students within my classroom using a teacher account, I would love that!

This is probably a decent educational app, but if you sign up and then try to cancel they continue to bill you forever! No way to stop it!

I was charged but don’t remember setting up an account. Also I can’t even let my niece use the app to make it worth the 8 dollars because I don’t know the sign in information. I don’t blame the app it was probably my fault but in case it wasn’t be carful.

Very unhappy that after 10 months of inactivity homer started charging monthly without my consent. We never really used this app to begin with, and now I discovered 15 months later that I have been charged last 3 months for their services which I never used. Don’t sign up—-it’s a scam to to get your money!!!!

I love this app, but my daughter played for a week and finished it. It said she needed a new level and there were none. This is very disappointing. They say it’s for 4-8 but clearly that isn’t true. I wanted this to take her to the next level and would have subscribed but it does not have that capacity.

I love the idea of this, but the app isn’t working. I signed up for the free trial subscription and my son’s first path is matching - there are only 3 cards showing up and there aren’t matches available but it keeps telling him to flip another card to find the match. Very frustrating. Will need to cancel the trial until it’s fixed.
They sold my email address to a political campaign.
