So incredibly helpful and motivating!!

I am a mom who can become distracted by the littlest things. Chasing those distractions can leave me feeling like I've failed at the end of the day/week/month. This app helps me stay focus and feel rewarded for accomplishing keeping first things first.

Love it

Anglesaki

I've only had the app one day and already love it! I never spend money on apps but this was worth it! With two kids it is so easy to loose focus but this helps keep mom brain at bay? the one thing I have noticed that I wish I could change is the timer. Some tasks take longer than 15 mins so it would be nice to change that. I do love how you can change the titles and tasks your needs.

Love it but doesn't sync to android phone

I love this app. The interface is great. It is easy to use. I've been using it for several years in fact. It is exactly what I need except for the fact that now I also need to be able to sync with my android smart phone and there is no version of the app that syncs to android. If there was, I would give this app 5 stars.

Recommend it to my clients

Update: I STILL use this app all the time. I use it for both work and home and I teach my clients about it as well as include it in my professional presentations. Best app of this type on the market. Thank you! From 2011: I use it and as a Professional Organizer I recommend it to my clients.

Awesome app!

Grizzliest

Have used this since it came out. I love this app for keeping up on daily / weekly/ monthly /yearly items in my to do list. I love being able to copy a list and easily add it to a routine and it automatically makes it into a check list. I also like that you can access it from a PC. I use this with flylady zones (you can add you own personal areas to clean also). And I use it with Christmas organizing plans. Like Holiday Grand Plan, House and Holidays, and Organized Christmas. I also love that it has reminders and a 15min timer.

Life Changing!!!!

I cannot express how incredibly useful this app is. I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on planners, to do lists, notebooks, calendars, you name it. This app does it better than anything I've ever tried, and does it more efficiently than I could have ever imagined. I was just looking for a simply weekly chore list and got so much more. This app is worth every penny and will change your life.

Wasted money

Stupid task list

Best app for Home Management

This app is fantastic. It’s very simple to use. You have a space for daily tasks, weekly tasks, and monthly tasks. You can write a todo list and move items from monthly, weekly, daily. You can even do events. This app with a personal calendar/planner is all I need to be organized. I totally recommend this app.

Love this App, but I do have some ideas for improvement.

Like I said in the title, I ❤️ this app. I so needed it. I'm a recent college grad and recently married. During college I pretty much avoided all chores and any kind of housekeeping. Dishes? Aint nobody got time for dat--I got an exam to "study" for. Mommy and daddy will handle them dishes like they always did. Well, now I've moved out and live in an apartment with the hubby--neither of us do dishes. We LOVED it. After about 2 weeks. He's deployed by the military and I'm left in charge of the household. Sure, I can continue doing whatever I want, but its real hard to eat my lunch while I live out my farmer life on Stardew Valley when there aren't any clean dishes to eat off of! Not only that, but, groceries don't just magically appear in the fridge like they do back at my parents' place. I came to the hard realization that--gone are my days of f*ed up routines and me just being a slob *sniffle*. I did always kinda know that the day would come when I'd have to get good at picking up after myself, and at developing solid routines but I REALLY didn't want the day to come. Routines have always made me feel like some kind of mindless drone. Who wants to live that way? But, I digress, routines DO have their place. I'm finding that they are helpful when it comes to household management (groceries, paying bills, and dishes, etc). In comes HomeRoutines to the rescue! I've used it for about 1-2 months or so. I love how customizable it is--and you get a gold star for completing tasks--I love that! The stand out feature for me is how you can easily adjust (not true for a lot of other apps) the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally) and on what days you want your specific routines to appear. For example with me, "Wash Dishes" appears every-other-day. I love how the app handles repetition so fluidly. My ideas for improving this app would be to include some kind of Week View or Calendar view so that you can avoid "double-booking" your routines. By default the app only shows you the routines you have scheduled for the day. I believe this view is too narrow because lets say it is Monday I want to make Tuesdays "Laundry Day" theres no way I can look forward to Tuesday to see if I've got space for it. Sure, you could argue that "well I should know my routine because it should be routine." But, if I already knew my routine by heart I wouldn't need this app to help me develop them. In addition, I'd love it if the app gave the option to skip certain routines/tasks OR hide them from view if I decide not to do them that day without it influencing the repeat pattern because sometimes I just don't feel like doing my dishes that day. I also don't want the routine just sitting there cluttering up precious phone screen real estate space if I've already decided I don't want to do it. This feature would be especially helpful for those that have A LOT of routines during the day. I am one of those people. The app allows you to view ALL of your routines or just the ones scheduled for the day, but thats different from what I'm asking for. I'm asking for the ability to hide/skip routines scheduled for the day. As of the date of this writing, that feature isn't available. Bottom Line: This app is wonderful if you KNOW exactly what repeaty chores/tasks you want to do each day of the week and like to just focus on one day at a time. This app is also great for flybabies who follow the FLYlady system. It is pretty much designed to follow that system! It even has focus zones that follow the schedule on the flylady website. Thanks for reading my review!

Best App to Stay on a Cleaning Schedule!!

I use this app almost everyday. I have been able to set up each day (mon-fri) to clean different zones in my house. It is so helpful in making sure I check off everything on the list. You can customize it however you want and see Day-to-day lists only. Great App!!
