Great new habit during quarantine!

I had to cancel my BI-weekly housecleaning service due to coronavirus complication, and started using this app to include daily and weekly cleaning habits into my everyday work and weekend schedule! It really helped me stay organized and motivated to get my stars every day! I did try about 4 apps, but this was the only one that stuck with me! I have made it a bit of a game and challenge during a difficult time. The only thing I wish it did is synchronized to my google calendar.

I bought Home Routines in an effort to find some way to push myself out of my pandemic inertia. I’m pretty responsive to a checklist so I hoped it would at least help motivate me to do basic tasks like clean the cat boxes and plan meals. But it’s done so much more. The interface is easy and it’s totally customizable. I’ve set up routines for every day and I’m sticking to them, getting more done, and feeling much more positive and productive. I’ve even started using the apps zone house cleaning system to get a little done every day. I’m very happy with Home Routines!

Really love this app. It keeps ,e on schedule and organized in my homemaking. I really would love if they made an Android app as well. Luckily I have an iPad, but I’d love to be able to access the app on my phone.

One thing I love about this app is it is not too complicated. The interface is simple and intuitive, and it doesn’t try to be too much. That said, I really do need them to add quarterly and yearly routine functionality. They have all of the smaller routine functionality from mornings to days to weeks to months. It would be so simple for them to just add quarterly and yearly. Please consider it!

I created several lists for my health; tracking water, number of steps, veggies and fruits- all with reminders throughout the day. Affirmations - daily My basic shopping list All of my cleaning lists; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually Morning routine Evening routine Sunday Basket Routine (Lisa Woodruff-Sunday Basket/Organize365) Recipes Books I want to read Monthly bill payment list All of the lists reset automatically every day. It is front and center on my phone screen! I’ve used it for years and it has never had a problem! This has changed my life for the better!

Like many people, I often find myself spending my days doing stuff but accomplishing very little during this period of quarantine. I’ve used HomeRoutines off and on for years, but have recently returned to it to help stay focused on the “important things.” I’ve added new routines for tasks like keeping in touch with distant family & friends and self-care. It gives me a sense of control and accomplishment to be able to check off items on my various lists during the day. Highly recommend it!

This is still the best home organizer out there. Straight forward, user friendly, and includes everything I need. I so appreciate that the app is not cluttered with unnecessary fields and leaves every category open for the user to control information. Please don’t change it and thank you.
