Great Companion to Amazing Mac Inventory App

If you have a Mac, you need to buy Home Inventory and then download this companion app, plus the Photo Remote app as well. While you cannot add or edit records with this app, you get a full mobile copy of your inventory, including photos, that is fun to browse. It lacks search and sort features at this point, but it is indispensable as a quick pocket reference to your collections and assortments. I can only hope I'll never need it for insurance purposes, but I will certainly be prepared!

The Best Application

I have found the original Home Inventory application plus the new Photo Remote and Mobile Backup to be a group of incredible tools toward the goal of providing a full inventory of personal possessions. It is easy to learn, easy to use and has a full set of functions. Embed photos, copies of receipts, notes, etc all in an easy format that lightens a very heavy load when attempting a task that has proven impossible with other methods and applications I have tried previously. This application Rocks. ABM

While the competition might have some prettier tools (compartments is attractive software), none of them can match Inventory for ease of use, feature set, and now, complete mobile support! The iPhone companion app makes adding items super simple, and this makes having the data with me when I need it just as simple! I'm continually imposed by Inventory and it's dev! Thanks guys!

Very helpful in organizing my homemade. Love that I have both iPad and Mac.

Cannot sync

Disappointed that there is no sync. It is so time consuming bringing your stuffs to your computer to input them. They could have develop this app without the rush. I'm switching back & use instead MyStuff Pro.

I wasn't paying attention

Didn't realize you had to have a Mac and the app...ooooooooops! Wasted my time. Why don't they have a version for the iPhone? It looked like something I needed.
