 Intercom does not broadcast live. It first records your message and then replays it wirelessly through your speakers when you release the Talk button.

So I read the recent great reviews for this intercom app. I pay the $5, downloaded it and now it doesn’t work at all!! It’s says it needs access to the microphone but the app does not show up in my app list! This has to be some sort of scam app.

I have the iPhone 8s. The app is not showing up in the microphone listing in the privacy setting. Please fix or I want a refund!!!!!! App needs updating!!!!!

This app was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately with iOS 12 on an iPhone X, this app doesn’t correctly request microphone permissions. It doesn’t show up in the access list in privacy settings, so it simply doesn’t work at all. Judging by other reviews that mention this problem, the developer is not responsive.

Same iOS 12 microphone/privacy loop issue that others have reported is preventing me from using this app. Worked great for years, it’d be great if it gets a maintenance update to fix this.

The premise of this app inspired me to get WiFi AirPlay speakers in my house. I have two Sonos One speakers in my home and this app makes them a perfect intercom system between my basement and upstairs. Pick your AirPlay destination, hold the button to record a message, and it plays it over the speaker shortly after. It also has a fun little voice changer. Simple app that serves its purpose well.

It works pretty quickly when broadcasting. I like the voice changer. Only thing that would help is the ability to select multiple AirPlay devices. Doing one at a time can be tedious when trying to page someone.

Does not work over Airplay anymore after iOS update. Developer does not appear to be updating app. Too bad. It was very useful since our home sound system is hooked up to an AirPlay device.
