App makes it really easy to use this service. It’s easy to choose, and we have had so many amazing meals. We both enjoy cooking, so we like the process and LOVE the final dishes. I like that you can see everything including ingredients and instructions - full transparency to see if the cooking and food is good for what we desire. Because we skip most weeks (I use this for when we are out of town on a weekend), I’d like to “activate” a week instead of worrying about skipping every single week. I messed up once and got a shipment we didn’t need. Everything else is awesome, and I would recommend to anyone. Even if you can’t cook.. choose the easy meals, and it’s a great way to learn how to shop and to cook. In addition, we live in a condo with non air-conditioned interior mail storage, and these stay cold until late in the evening when we pick up. Nicely packaged. Thanks!

I finally broke down and signed up. Picked homechef because i liked the menus. I don't know what we did before homechef. The quality of ingredients is surprisingly good, and the recipes so convenient to store and prepare. The app is so easy to use. Just love it! If you are on the fence, just try it.

Got my first box delivered today! It was awesome to come home and see it sitting on the porch after a long day at work. It showed up on time and was packaged really well with ice. Everything was fresh and wrapped individually by meal which I found really convenient. The first meal was a success and I even got some under ten year olds to eat cauliflower and like it.:) Looking forward to tomorrow night. Thanks Hello Fresh! Sincerely, One Happy Working Mom.

I’ve tried Hello Fresh and Home Chef so far and Home Chef wasn’t anything gourmet or even unique. That’s the reason I started trying these meal services out was to get different meals and not cook the same boring meals. Well these were boring, just about every side is green beans or asparagus, just not worth the money at all. Packaged sloppily, meats were leaking, veggies not fresh and they charged me form and chose my meals for me and I don’t even eat what they chose. The app has no way to cancel all you can do is “SKIP” a week at at time but who has time to do that it’s very easy to forget when we have jobs, kids, and busy lives. I hope I get the refund I’m asking for I will definitely refuse package. Hello Fresh thus far has been the cleanest, freshest and more gourmet style meals we will be going back to them no questions.

We used Home chef when we were just Hubby and wife and then I sadly paused it cuz the recipes were a little too time consuming with a newborn in the house. Now that we got that figured out and I’m tired of eating the same meals we decided to go back to it and I couldn’t be more excited. I never had any issues with the app, minus my brain remembering to do it. We treat them more as or “date night” in, rather than spend $60-$70 to go out to dinner

We have tried 4 other meal delivery services for at least 6 months each. All of them were higher priced than home chef. They were all hit & miss. I would say we enjoyed 50% of the meals each week. Homes chef has by far the tastiest meals on a consistent basis. After 4 months, I would say there has been 2 meals at best that haven’t been home runs! Seriously almost every meal is better than what you could find in a gourmet restaurant. In addition, they are more simple to prepare & in general cost less than other services. Save yourself the trouble & looking around. Home chef is the best so far! By far!!!

I grew up on food heated from a can or TV dinners. I never learned to properly cook a meal until I began ordering from this company. I really enjoy this home-cooked food, in which most recipes have a little technique or extra ingredient that makes the whole meal really special. I had NO IDEA that toasting walnuts was so easy and makes such an awesome snack!

Happy food!

We have been a customer of Home chef for a long time now and I’ve always received our boxes on the days we were supposed to at a reasonable hour. The meals are very easy to cook the cards really explain step-by-step how to fix everything we’ve learned so much from the recipe cards. One thing I’ve learned that having fresh ingredients really makes a difference in helping taste. The meals are very good and well put together. No one’s perfect and when there has been problems like maybe something missing customer service is wonderful and always eager to please they re-inverse you above and beyond and are very helpful and apologetic. I have never been disappointed with him and recommend them to everyone I know.

We started home chef 6 months ago but cancelled today because of the amount of delivery delays. We had three delays (one was three days late) in a row recently and had to unexpectedly order out or go so additional groceries. The food was okay when supplemented with our own spices etc. but it was good enough to stick around with the poor service. I was compensated some of the price 3 times but I wasn’t even acknowledged the last time. We will try sun basket and see how it compares.
