So I have only had this app for a day and I believe it’s doing its job rather well. However, I did not allow the app to know my location and I am having people talk to me about the state that I’m from. Is there a way that I can change it? I checked the settings on my phone and it does say the the location is turned off for Holla. I’ve also had other people’s locations be incorrect. An option for this app should also maybe have you only have a range of ages you want to talk to. I’m still a minor and would feel more comfortable chatting with someone near my age than adults. The swipe feature kinda takes too long to actually activate. I’ve joined chats and right away it’s one that I don’t want to be in because it’s a black screen or they are wearing a mask. I personally don’t want to talk to people like that. Since I’ve only used the app for one day I accidentally swiped people away before friending them, very sad. I noticed in another review how they complained about how there are only males using this app. I’m fine with that considering I’m a female and I can always use the practice one how to talk to guys. If you want more mixed genders then invite more people to join the app. Hope that some of this information was useful, have a nice day!

Idk if it’s only me but every time I download the app and when I try to log in with my phone number it never works like I cannot get notifications from it

If I cant connect with a specific gender I want and on top of that their state lines away then why even use this app??? Not to mention the last 3 people I connected with were beyond rude and people kept closing the chat in my face when I just asked them simple questions, there as to be away where If I want to only connect with people that live in the same state as me I should only be able to talk to people in the same state as me I also shouldn’t be matching with random genders if i’m only specifically trying to talk to one, overall my experience with this app is just very disappointing I really had high hopes for it considering it advertises saying you won’t get cat fished yet I have no idea who I’m connecting with at any givin moment, over all this app is very poor and needs work done on it

Sometimes I’ll match with a girl but then it says they left the chat immediately?? I don’t get it. Other than that glitch, great app!

No instructions on how to use the app. What is the purpose? Is it a dating app or is it for games? Also, if it IS a dating app, why can’t I find people who are more local? Deleting the app was difficult, you have to type the word “delete” just right or it won’t allow you to delete. I’ll not suggest this app to anyone. Ever.
