Almost perfect

crazy for tim

After trying pretty much all of the gps apps on the same course hole 19 is for sure number 1. This app is accurate to within a couple of yards to the front/middle/back of green which is all I really need. The only thing I wish it did was connect to the health app and track my health data. I tend to walk 18 fairly frequently and would love for the data from playing to be logged in the health app. I know there are other golf gps apps that connect to the health app but are no where near as accurate.

Watch scoring

Jlo_onabutaroll

This app does not support scoring from the watch on the free version anymore. Extremely disappointed

Nope

nuckname.

I hate this app. Going back to my Garmin. Wish I could get my money back. It turns off unexpectedly with the least little touched my watch. It’s confusing. The watch and my phone are often not the same. Just not worth the time and trouble.

Great product and customer service!

I was having trouble with the GPS while using this app on my Apple Watch. I left a 3 star review and a couple days later received a message from the developer. They worked with me to change some settings on both my phone and watch and now it works great!! In fact I just shot my lowest round of the season using Hole19! The recap emails I receive after each round are helping me to understand my game better and I’m gaining confidence in my club selection. Thank you Hole19!!

Great Statistics, Poor Yardage

Snuckerpooks

I’ve been using the app for 2 weeks on premium. Says of fairways hit, club accuracy, and general distances of clubs is good. But pin yardage is all over the place. Also wish there was more access to data. Seeing which club tendencies rather than just an accuracy percent would be helpful on evaluating how to gap my clubs.

Really pleased

Pooooooooooooooò

This app is great

Best GPS for Apple Watch Period

rocco5945mld

Hands-down the best golf GPS I’ve used with the Apple Watch. Love the big numbers view. The tip for turning off Bluetooth to utilize the watch primarily was brilliant.

Poor gps

Cue521

Tried using three times and every time on first hole gps not working. Works fine 2nd hole and beyond but you know golf, frustration at the beginning can carry through out the round. Can’t have that so unsubscribing even though just started

Overrated

Upgraded to “Premium Lite” which should have addressed my only 2 real complaints- app does not auto-update from hole to hole, and the aerial shots- which were supposed to be upgraded to hi-rez, are basically worthless. It’s as though the app puts a blurry, darken filter on each aerial pic. I also became suspicious of the distances it was telling me when I could walk 20 yards either side of my ball and the yardage wouldn’t change. I played tonight and wound up getting true yardage readings from my playing partners with their Garmin devices.

Like the flexibility

SteveA48

I’m a casual golfer that has played since I was 8, but never competitively because other sports got in the way. At 48, I am enjoying golf with my kids and buddies, and actually playing the best golf of my life, breaking 80 and sometimes in the low 70’s all year so far. At times our outings are practice rounds for an upcoming summer league or HS match with my 18 year old, where I haven’t played before. The maps, with the ability to zoom and move the aiming point around really helps with shot selection and golf course management. The ability to clearly see how far it is to a dogleg or to reach/carry a bunker, and then how much you will have left to reach the green from there has changed the way I approach the teebox. It’s much more than getting a number from your watch. I grab my driver much less than I used to, in fact shot +2 on 9 holes last night and only grabbed my driver 3 times, because I knew exactly which shots I needed to hit for GIR before I ever walked to the tee. I’ve been using Hole19 for years as a GPS yardage function and find it consistent, accurate and flexible.
