Impressed

noeticMuse

I am impressed. Fine work has been done here with many important basic sound editing features. Multi-track controls. Import/export. Timeline control. Plus all the fx. I hope this nice little app never goes away.

Perfect app

Does everything perfectly for editing music files.

We are grateful we found Hokusai 2! It is saving us time, for our work, for editing, submitting, and its transporting options! We are thankful!

Perfect and Free!

We were looking for an app that would let us import songs from iTunes, cut out pieces of each song, then splice them together into one track. This app lets us do just that, it’s easy to figure out, and it has a user guide built in. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Excellent!

One of the best application in app store!?

Best audio editor ever to exist on the App Store! ??

I use this app for a few different purposes actually: to make my remixes, make clean versions, and make the bleep sound. Lol. I honestly don’t see why the review is so low... it’s the simplest, but most advanced, audio editor I have ever used. This is actually my second year using this... and I have been a happy user because of all the features it has to it. Thank you for making such a good app! ❤️

Doesn’t Get The Attention It Should

imjustsarah515

I don’t think this app gets the attention it should! It’s a really robust app and does a hell-of-a lot more than “it should.” This app is comparable to say... Audacity on the desktop. It’s a very functional and easy to use mobile audio editing tool that beginners, hobbiests, and even professionals will find helpful — and it has a clean interface... unlike SO many other video and audio editing apps. Give it a shot!

Efficient but buggy

20M13P02

This is an amazing app! I’ve been using it to cut my music and it works miracles (most of the time). There are some times when I would select a region to begin cutting, and then it would just automatically slide to some other spot. Or I would slide the cutter to cover the region I want to delete, and then it would just shrink to where I selected it. Over and over again. This is probably the only complaint I have regarding this and it is rather frustrating to deal with. Please take this into consideration and hopefully make changes to fix this bug. Thank you for reading

Easy to use, but no export to MP3

Meeeeeeee12345654321

I like the ease of use of this editor, it is much like Audacity in how it works. My only gripe is it cannot save to MP3. It doesn’t appear that even the paid version has this feature. So I now have to add another audio app that will do the conversion for me. Not great for my workflow. Other than that, it has great features and is easy to learn.

Could be good if...

IF I could adjust multiple effects on a track before rendering, this would be a way useful audio editor. As it is, each effect added is rendered into the track. I find this limitation too unforgiving to be a serious audio editor. Bummer. I wish I had not paid for the effects now.
