Sometimes works and sometimes not

Trying to do the same thing from one day to the next and it seems to be a toss up whether the VPN will actually allow me to appear where I need to be.

My vpn is not connecting

Frequent random disconnects & settings issues

I downloaded this app and paid for a subscription based on a recommendation I received. I have it set to automatically connect—or I try to, anyway. The settings keep changing themselves back to the default without any intervention by me. I keep having to turn on the setting to automatically connect, only to discover almost every time I do something online that the vpn will randomly disconnect halfway into it... When I open the app to reconnect, the automatic connection setting is turned off again. Not okay! Especially for a paid subscription! The connection is much faster than the last vpn I used, but with all the random disconnects and settings issues I think I’ll look for a better one. This one isn’t worth the money. Update: after leaving this review I received a condescending response from the developer assuming I am trying to use the app without internet service, blaming my internet connection, or assuming I have no idea how a smartphone works. My internet connection isn’t causing the problem; it’s just fine and I experience these issues with no lapse in internet connection or speed. Other users connected to the same wifi are not experiencing any internet connectivity issues when this happens either. It’s the vpn app, and the attitude toward customers certainly doesn’t help. I am not the only one experiencing this issue according to the reviews. Clearly there is some sort of glitch they’d rather ignore. And after the developer reply, I’d rate this -2 stars or less if I could. ETA: also, it seems they didn’t really even read my review. The disconnection happens while I am actively using my phone, NOT while the phone sleeps. I also have not set any trusted networks, so that is not a factor either. I’m going back to my previous vpn. It was slower, but it didn’t disconnect every few minutes and reset the “automatically connect” setting, and I don’t recall such awful responses from them either.
