Would be five stars but....

Yeah. This is a great app and I totally recommend this to anyone who wants to learn Japanese. But there's one problem. The syllable ri (り) is written as a weird form of i (い) where the "arms"-as they call it-are pushed closer together. The romanized version is correct and all. That is my only complaint though.

I have never found a better app to learn Kana before. This is a must have for everyone who really wants to learn Japanese. I didn't know a word until I got this app. I'm pretty much done with Hiragana, with this app alone.

I have been really struggling to remember ... Well everything. This app somehow managed to not only teach the material well and cleanly but made me learn and remember kana in three weeks. I don't know what kind of voodoo hex this app put on me but whatever it was it works.
