I love the app! It is really helpful when you are learning a new language or when you want to improve your language! But i just wish that there is an option for private messages it would be great

Hinative goes a long way toward solving the tricky language learning problem - you’re trying to say something but don’t have a native speaker handy to check whether you’re saying something in a natural, idiomatic way. Now you can just ask, and get pretty close to instant feedback. For intermediate and advanced learners it's an especially great resource. Plus it’s surprisingly addictive.

this is probably the best way to ask and get answers about how to express yourself in a language. Users are really quick to give answers, its better than using a dictionary sometimes because its hard to find contextual based usages in dictionaries. indispensable to anyone that actually wants to be able to communicate

This app is an invaluable aid to my family's language learning! I ask for help with hard words from books, songs, YouTube, and blogs, have natives check and correct my pronunciation, and -- possibly the most useful: they help me figure out how to say all the things that a Mom says to her kids (but that don't appear in any phrase book), so that I can bring my kids on this Japanese journey with me. The app itself is smooth and seamless; a snap to use.
So many ads! Way too slow

This app used to be good, but now you can't go more than 2 seconds without seeing ads, which can be loud if your device isn't muted. Also very slow... because of the ads
