This app is so much fun, the first night I downloaded it, I stayed up all night answering questions for people! Sometimes the questions they ask can be a little confusing, but with the way the system works out, it can be understood by reading it a few times.

This app is an invaluable aid to my family's language learning! I ask for help with hard words from books, songs, YouTube, and blogs, have natives check and correct my pronunciation, and -- possibly the most useful: they help me figure out how to say all the things that a Mom says to her kids (but that don't appear in any phrase book), so that I can bring my kids on this Japanese journey with me. The app itself is smooth and seamless; a snap to use.

amazing app! just don't like how everything is premium :-(( other than that, it's super fun! I love learning through this app & helping others out! I honestly get a lot of fun out of this haha :-))
Great potential, still needs work

App is not quite there yet quality-wise: notifications seem unreliable, there are some weird artifacts when switching apps (bottom bar gets hidden), and it’s frequently slow. However the community is there, you do get answers to your questions fairly quickly. The devs seems to have gotten greedy, some basic functionality like searching for past answers or bookmarking questions is behind an in-app subscription. All in all I hope this does well, the idea is pretty great.

As the title says, I love this app! It works smoothly for me and even though I'm not paying monthly (I'm considering it), I stil have access to a lot of great featured! Answers and replies are quick and it's a joy to learn other languages as I help others learn as well! One suggestion I think a lot of users could benefit from is a HiNative chatroom and the ability to add friends. I'm meeting a lot of great people from around the world that I would love to add as friends and keep in touch with (without having to whip out social media). A chatroom could be a bunch of public chatrooms made for users to practice chatting in the languages they want to learn without having to do it under asked questions. I know some users who simply want to work on speaking and writing to others in conversation. Keep up the good work on the app!
A great app but..

This has been a great app for a long time and I love it! The only problem is recently I've been trying to get into the app and it brings me back to the home screen. It won't work and I don't know how to fix it!

It's really helpful and it's fun too. It's also really convenient and I love how people can also answer with a recording of the answer because it helps with the pronunciation part. Butttt {and here's why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5} I don't like how we can't listen to recordings to other questions unless we're premium. Otherwise, all is good!!!
