This is a wonderful program that has improved my play - very educational. It indeed does complement the computer version nicely. Well done; definitely worth the money.

I like this app, but the interface leaves much to be desired. Very limited customization, counterintuitive playback (or take back) of moves, and the bouncy movement of pieces all serve to distract from the joy of playing chess. I bought this app for the human like play, and it does that very well. I just wish the UI wasn't so cumbersome. Having learned more about the UI, I've grown to appreciate this app more. Still, I don't like the bouncy movement of pieces. I must say though that I play this app every day.

Program is not working properly with IOS 8. Do not upgrade until they have a fix. I'm waiting for hiarcs to reply. Cannot save or load games.

Hiarcs for the iPhone is a very strong and easy to use chess app that comes with no extra functions you never use and has great support from the developer...recommended whether you are just learning or are polishing up for a tournament.
