Absolutely Terrible Update/Format

I feel like half the magazine is missing. I will be cancelling my years long digital subscription because I cannot read this. Its now mid-Sept and nothing has improved with this format. And Country Living Magazine is just as bad. Its not Powered by Maz, its Ruined by Maz. I cancelled both subscriptions.

Loved this magazine. I will cancel my subscription. I can't get rid of re-directed ads to get to the next page on my iPad. Waste of money. Poor use of digital technology.


Doesn’t Link To iTunes ID

Poor functionality—update doesn’t link to updated passwords in iTunes and therefore you cannot Log In and keep issues “Restored”. In one area the app states “Active Subscription” and in another it states “Subscription Expired”—seriously this is so basic. I would not recommend purchasing this app to new subscribers but it is really too bad as I have enjoyed the portability in the past with being able to travel without caring lots of excess paper reading material......please address all of these issues.....we love your contributors and content (just not in love with the delivery at the moment....?

Your 'improved' app is useless. Bring back the previous version or I will cancel my subscription. If one accidentally taps an advertisement, it is impossible to get out of the ad and return to the magazine. The new layout is terrible and too difficult to navigate. It takes too much scrolling down a page to enjoy an article. Horrible crappy 'improvement'. Change back!!!!!! UPDATE 10/13/17. THIS APP IS STILL CRAP!!!!! NO CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. OBVIOUSLY HGTV NOR THE ONLINE MAG HOST DOES NOT UTILIZE THEIR OWN APP OR THEIR FRUSTRATION WOULD WARRANT CHANGE. MY SUBSCRIPTION IS UP FOR RENEWAL....AND I WON'T BOTHER. IF 'CUSTOMER DISSERVICE' DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, WHY SHOULD THEIR CUSTOMERS WASTE THEIR TIME, EFFORT, AND MONEY ON THEM.


This app stinks

Change back to the version From a year ago. I love the magazine but the way it is right now is horrible I want to read it like a magazine and have magazines spreads. Even your advertising stinks.

Everything everyone else has said. I'm about to cancel my subscription if this isn't fixed soon. Ugh. It’s terrible.


App user experience is awful

Everything is buggy. Responsiveness is horrible. Constantly redirected inadvertently to advertiser's sites. Can never see a full page.


Worse than horrible!

Every time there is an app update, I lose everything. Now, not only have I lost all past issues and it wants me to subscribe all over again, it also doesn’t recognize my email and there is no way to say reset password etc. I have been a subscriber to HGTV magazine since inception and I switched to the digital because I had so many post office problems with delivery. However I am ready to either cancel altogether if I could find out how to do it!!!!! There must be a better way! Too many good apps out there to think this is the best they can do..
