Wonderful and easy app

I experienced many translation application, but that is the best. It shows the translation of the copied word copies the chosen word while switching from reading. You can make flash cards for later memorize, and get many examples to understand the words.

This app is organized in a fashion that helps me find translations quickly and easily. They even send me notifications of words I’ve already looked up as a way to practice and remember them. Great Hebrew-English translations !!

Full screens ads jump up and occupy the entire screen. I tried to translate the word “red” and was given several sentences with the translated word “red” somewhere in the sentence. I just want the single word translated. The app is not productive for me use.

As a serious student of the Hebrew language who has been studying for about six years now this app is by far the most comprehensive and helpful I even don’t mind all the ad pop-ups. I will take it relative to the glitches I have seen in other apps by other developers. This is a must have for anyone who really wants to become conversant in Hebrew or just build their vocabulary. ???. Will H.

I lived in Israel for a year and learned Hebrew in an immersion ulpan. I wish I had this app then. It’s very useful and like other reviewers said, it very rarely comes up with no translation. I have never had bothersome pop up adds like other reviewers mention, maybe because I use the app on my iPad and they mention iPhones, the adds only appear in a banner on the bottom of the screen. It’s free, so it has to make money somehow. Pros: - tap on the English or Hebrew word you want to hear and it plays the pronunciation - lots of very helpful sample sentences with audio - sample sentences often conjugate the verbs in different tenses and persons - great for learning synonyms - translates idiomatic expressions Cons: - the audio pronunciation isn’t always accurate but if you already pretty much know Hebrew you can figure it out Review written 23 April 2018

For a Hebrew-English dictionary app, this is great and I use it all the time. This is so much better than Morfix. Pros: - Hebrew and English pronunciations for every word - multiple sample sentences for each word, with voiced pronunciations for each sentence (English and Hebrew) - "favorites" to save any English or Hebrew word and "history" folder to find recent searches - much easier to use for English speakers - search results from multiple dictionaries (including Hebrew dictionaries) - there are also translated phrases Cons: - pop-up ads are really annoying, especially when there is a word you're trying to look up before you forget! - no vowels for the Hebrew words, but usually the Hebrew dictionary results below provide vowels or I just use the pronunciations - Warning: not all the Hebrew word pronunciations are accurate, as it is a computerized voice For the price of nothing, this is a very useful dictionary.
