Subtlety poor players if you pay attention to their strategy. Thé players aren’t that good even on hard level. Takes about 5 games or so but once you understand their strategy and habits you can win 80 to 90 percent of the games
I winder if the games is rigged. Just play a complete round and got the queen of spades each time. I do hope this is a legit game. Sure makes me wonder.
The graphics are great. They are way behind the times in making you tap the middle of the table to play your cards. The big thing is that they want to show you how many games the computer can win. The hands are mostly all rigged. The cards are not static after the deal & always shift around so that the player will have the high cards. If you have the five of a suit, the 2, 3, & 4 are always divided among the other three hands. Not once in over a year of playing this awful excuse for a card game have I ever seen it go any other way! You can't beat a cheater. I would give this zero stars if I could.
I think some reviewers are missing a point. It is incredibly hard to write an algorithm to play Hearts like a good human or advanced AI. The rules of Hearts are simple, but the strategy is not. There are lots of stratagems: bluffing a run, false carding, aggressive and deceptive passing. And the tactics must shift with the situation. Yes, in Hard mode this game "cheats". It is 3 against one. The bots conspire. They "know" what's in your hand. In other words it is a real challenge to win. You cannot trust the bots to act in their self-interest the way a human player would. All of which makes it satisfying when you eke out a victory. "Take that, cheating bots." Yes, the programmers could have resisted taking short-cuts but then there would be no Hard mode. Just easy victories. Boring. By the way, the 3 bots do have different "personalities": they pursue different strategies.
Every time i play, i get an opponents points applied to my score. Updated, deleted, reloaded. Still happens. Sorry, deleted permanently
I like a challenging card game and I don't think I'm a sore loser, but this game in Hard mode is not winnable. I started keeping track and in 18 out of 20 games I got the Queen of Spades and the high score. The one time I didn't score I ended up with 26 points anyway. I don't need to win every time but I would at least like the pretense of a fair game. Bye bye!
