MONITOR 30+ NUTRIENTS
We have a huge database of 500,000+ foods and supplements, including top restaurants, brands and specialty items, with the most complete nutrition information. Monitor not only calories, fat, carbs, protein, calcium, sodium, iron, vitamins A and C, but also glycemic index and load, omega-6:omega-3 ratio, potassium, magnesium, zinc, niacin, lycopene and vitamins B12, D and more.

NUTRITION SCORE
A main highlight, your daily nutrition score rates your diet quality. A higher score means a healthier diet, a lower score, a less healthy one. The DASH diet, Mediterranean diet, and others that align with USDA recommendations normally score between 90 and 100. Extreme diets or those comprised largely of junk food generally score lower.

NUTRITION REPORT
This unique feature gives you a graphic view of your overall nutrition. Charts and trends show you which foods contribute most to your vitamin and mineral intake, and which cause too much sodium and added sugar. Are you deficient in iron or omega-3? Do you get the right amount of vitamin A? Get tips on how to improve and top food recommendations.

TRENDS
A powerful discovery function. Get 7- or 30-day trends for any condition, nutrient or activity to see patterns and find correlations. Does vitamin C help your gums stop bleeding? Omega-3 help your allergies? Reducing salt lower your blood pressure?

EASIEST-TO-USE
Enter foods using a barcode scanner, quick-pick menus, favorite foods and “copy from yesterday.”

USE RECIPES
You can create any food using your personal recipe. Select ingredients from categories for sandwiches, salads, smoothies, tacos, omelets, burritos, wraps, pizza and pasta dishes. You can also add cooking methods.

NUTRITION TIPS AND TOP FOODS
Get nutrition tips on your nutrition cards. If you have too much sodium, get a warning; if you don't get enough calcium, get ideas for calcium-rich foods with colorful photos!

PHOTO NOTES
A bonus feature, makes tracking easier with time-tagged photos and text notes.

Nutrition tracking is great but the app is horrible
Bob24242424

This is one of the few nutrition apps that track potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, etc. and from that standpoint it is great. However it regularly gives me errors that aren’t really errors. One example is that when I am manually entering a food, it tells me that either the calories or the carbs or something us wrong. I can’t get past that error and I have to skip that food. I have actually reported this, but it continues to happen. Today it tells me that I am off line which I am not. I am connected to my Wi-Fi and it continues to tell me that I am not connected. I have rebooted my phone and reloaded the app to no avail. I’m going to have to find me another app unfortunately.

The best
QuarkUnit

I use this to track my macro and micro nutrients. I’ll check my macros (protein, carbs, fat) to see how I’m doing then adjust the contents of my next meal if needed. Same goes for micro nutrients (calcium, potassium, etc.) I really like that the app makes it easy to see where your nutrients came from with just a tap. You can also tap to see how to get more of a particular nutrient. Potassium has been my biggest challenge. I eat a plant based diet so all of the other nutrients come easy.

Could have been a great app

I love the mechanics of this app. It is easy to use, the Daily Report nicely summarized your day, it’s one of the few app that tracks more than just your standard calorie & a handful of nutrients. Sadly, the food database is much smaller than MyFitnessPal, there are many errors for the food that is in the database, and there is no clear way to submit to or correct items in the database. I’ve been using the app for 3 days now and there are many big name products where there is no barcode in the database. Approximations are nice, but if I am going to pay for an app, it better be at the top of its game and not some wanna be. My suggestion is to work on your food database it really is lacking by comparison to other similar apps.

Love this App!

This is one of the best free apps available that provides so much information. Will there be an update that might include Apple Watch tracking as well as water tracking?

Great Tracker, but with bugs - seems to be abandoned
maryann117

Used to pretty good, but expected improvements over time. I’ve reported numerous bugs, but the app has never been updated. It appears to be abandoned, so I will now look elsewhere. I agree with the comments from Maven802. The app is really good at tracking micronutrients. I have been using it for about 2 months. I continue to use it, but it has a number of quirks/bugs and limitations that users need to be aware of: - If you go back to relook at the serving size of a food you have already entered and do not re-save it, the entry defaults back to it's original default serving size. As an example if I pick 1 ounce, save it, then want to see the micronutrients association with that item, and don't resave it after I look at the nutrients, the serving will default back to 3 ounces if that's the default for that particular food. - The app randomly does not save items, especially on the tracker list. - Why limit the tracker to only 8 items? - There is no way to know if a micronutrient is 0 or is missing from the database. I would suggest a "-" in lieu of a 0 so the user knows the information is missing and cannot be relied upon. - Every entry that I have run into that only has a "100g" measurement and no others does the conversion wrong. As an example, Distilled White Vinegar - by Giant has a serving size of "15 ml (100g)". 15 ml of vinegar is not 100g, 15 ml is 15 g, so all calculations associated with this would be wrong. I have found this to occur over and over again for any food that only has a "equivalent" of 100g measurement and it's always wrong, so the user has to be very careful. - If you enter a custom food, there is no way to change anything if you make a mistake. You must delete it and start over. Entering custom food is not easy - generally you will have g or mg, but most things need to be entered as a % of the recommended daily requirement. So, it's not easy and if you make a mistake, then it's back to square 1. - The app does not take into account user defined limits for all micronutrients. As an example, I have set a lower limit for sodium at 2500 mg. It doesn't matter what I have for sodium as long as I'm under the max I get a "green" rating. As it turns out, I really NEED at least 2500 mg of sodium, and if I'm below that the tracker should not show green. - Trackers disappear for no reason and have to be re-added. Some basic enhancements would be very helpful: - The ability to create a new food, from an existing entry would be very helpful. - The ability to choose what micronutrients to see on the daily summary main screen would be nice. - Integration with the IOS Health App - i.e., my weight is recorded daily. Have it read it and log it in the tracker. The same should apply to steps and exercise. - Allow users or at least re-evaluate the scale on some of the trend graphs. As an example, I have a target protein of 20%, yet I can't see my daily numbers since the scale goes to 100%. BP trends, while accurate are not displayed in a manner that's very useful. (I suggest looking at the way the Health Mate app displays blood pressure (it would be nice to integrate this with the Apple Health app, too.) - Allow offline use of the app. As it stands you have to have a connection to use the app. - Apple watch integration. - A way to track fluids for the day.

Great app, but crashes and is clunky

I LOVE this app and have been using it for years to track macros... however it is very slow and crashes almost every time I use it. Recently has gotten worse. Hoping to see improvements, would rate 5✨ if it functioned more smoothly and was more stable

Sketchy Math
ID02

HealthWatch360 can track all the important stuff but the food database is limited. Unable to manually add all nutrition facts based on some sketchy math. Customer service was very responsive but not willing to compromise. She actually blamed the issue on me.

Not as good as fitness pal
Ccinutah

This could be a good app but it's not quite there yet. It doesn't interface with my Fitbit so I have to manually enter my exercise. It's missing a lot of foods that my fitness pal already has. The weirdest part is when I scan a UPC code it usually displays something totally unrelated.

Nowhere near others
DrFurious

Tried this side by side with My Fitness Pal. Doesn't hold a candle. Few foods, missing restaurant data, doesn't sync with Fitbit and doesn't do anything the other apps do. They have a long way to go.
