Great App!

EuroAmerican

I have read many positive reviews but also a few negative ones. But I decided to try the app for myself. And I have to say that I really love it! I have been very frustrated this past year with the standard Health and Activity apps built into iOS. The data displayed (especially the Health App) is very difficult to read and manage. Although this app basically just copies over the same data, it displays it in a MUCH better way, with quite a bit of customization. And now I can easily see everything I want with just a quick glance. (I love the ‘Goals’ layout with dark mode). The only thing that I can’t figure out is where it is getting the data for Resting Calories. This is the one field that doesn’t ever match the data from the Health app. (And I assumed this app was just copying over the same info). It’s usually about 50 cal (or so) off each day. It’s not that big of a deal and I’m guessing it’s somehow calculating differently, but I’m curious to know how. My only wish is that they can eventually make this as an iPad app as well, with all the same data. I hate that there are no apps to show health data on iPad, so this would be a dream come true!

Pointless

It doesn’t show you anything different than the standard free apple health app.

Love it!

This is exactly what I was looking for! It looks like the fitbit app and pulls data from My Fitness Pal. A quick and easy glance at my watch tells me my daily steps. I can scroll through for other info too. Perfect. Thank you!

Widget is not working. Says unable to load.

Previous updates have not fixed this problem. To see my calories burnt and eaten in the widget was the entire reason I bought the app

Dont use app on phone much but love watch app

Pyrotech1620

Update 12/9/17: there was no update on app but i uninstalled it for a day and then reinstalled it just to my phone for a day. After that installed it back on my watch and put it on my dock and everything seems to be working. I did also update phone to 11.2 and watch to 4.2 not sure if that matter but once again seems to be working. Update 11/30/17: use to love this app but recently my steps dont update on my watch. I often see the previous day step count vs current days on the watch. It doesnt update throughout the day. The number that shows on the watch does not match the number in their own app. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to fix it. :(. Will update if the developer fixes the issues but until then cant use it. First review: Apple should buy this company to make their health app! Its great! Quick responses from support and willing to add features requested by people! Keep up the great work!

Complication Settings Fixed

This version appears to have fixed the watch complication issue I was having. I am, however, a bit confused as to why the icon for Pulse Oximetry is a carrot..

Perfect app for seeing Apple Health data

bamodeo

I love my Apple Watch over my old Fitbit but hate the HealthKit app. HealthView is the ultimate replacement that makes my Apple Watch a useful tool! I love that I can customize the layout to see the data that is important to me. One suggestion would be to make a goal option for a min or max. I.e. I want to set a max goal for carbs that I don’t exceed not a goal I want to reach and go above. This type of goal setting would make this app perfect. Keep up the good work!! Support is also excellent. Had an issue, they responded and now I am back working again.

Updates info Inconsistently

Anonmom

Hoped it would cover the bases for those of us looking to transition from FitBit to AppleWatch3, however, the app doesn’t seem to automatically update the info it’s supposed to provide - Example: I’ve selected >HealthView> Total Calories to appear on the bottom of my watchface. To access this info I should only need to look at the watchface- but the app doesn’t update data unless I stop, launch the Healthview app on the watch, scroll thru the app and select/touch Total Calories, (along with ever other category of info I’d like to review on the watch) -only then is the info updated in the watchface... It’s astho the app defeats the entire point of itself. I’m hoping we’ll be seeing some fixes to this substantial problem soon.

Nice but could be so much more

It cleanly displays health data as advertised. However, you can't use the data to create graphs, overlapping with other points of data to see correlations, or even get an average number from the week, month or year views. It only tells you the total. Why would these simple things not be included in an app designed to display data? Imagine plotting graphs to see visually how your sleep is impacted on the days you exercise -- what happens if you add caffeine? Does the time you have caffeine make a difference? You could toggle on or off what data points you want to see. I hope this app could rise to this potential.

So slow

ironscabula

This app seems to be getting slower every day. Bringing up data from the month and year views takes forever for some data sets. At times it fails to load all together. Uninstalls and resets have done nothing.
