No need to replace your Tanita scale, this app will sync your Tanita data with garmin connect without a weight scale enabled garmin device (i.e. 910xt, edge 810). It will allow you to use the 920 xt and your Tanita scale! Triathletes Rejoice!

I must say that this is the answer to my watch no longer supporting the taint scale. Curses to Garmin for removing all legacy support in their new devices. However, the app does not seem to be able to push the data into Garmin Connect. I am extremely optimistic for this app doing the trick. :)

The actual version is not working. I have multiple data daily on my Tanita site which are not synchronized.

App is so cool, really easy a great functionality with export to garmin + apple health. No other alternative for it around. Using every day to export from Tanita scale to garmin connect and Apple Health. Thanks and really appreciate the App and support. The more iOs 9nish design would be just a bonus in the future? Petr

I have used a Tanita body composition scale (currently BC-533) for a couple of decades now and have a significant dataset stored in MyTanita which I maintain via Healthy Edge Lite on Windows. When Apple brought out HealthKit I was excited (yet daunted!) about getting my history into Apple Health and leveraged by the iOS ecosystem. Unfortunately, no first party solutions exist for this and this is the only third party solution which can bridge this particular need. Oh, and Joe is a wonderful developer who provides prompt and in depth support in such a selfless manner that it astounds me. Keep up the great work!
