I purchased this membership expecting to be able to use it but due to the Covid outbreak I haven’t been able to. I don’t fault the Harvest Host people because of this. I’ve tried to use it a couple of times with no room at the inn results due to high usage. I would appreciate it more if I could use it, maybe an extend membership for users that had membership prior to the outbreak and more chances to use it would lessen the pain.

Darryl was so friendly and helpful. The tasting room was fun, the tart strawberry wine and hard ciders are excellent. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Gramma T

I live in Los Angeles, CA. One of the biggest cities in America. There is nothing nearby. And then if you drive up to Santa Barbara county (huge wine region. Hundreds of wineries) there is absolutely zero places to stay. We’re currently in NAPA. The one place that they should have harvest hosts. They have ZERO hosts in Napa valley. There are two semi nearby. One 30 min away and one over an hour. To advertise yourself as a winery stay app. (I understand there are breweries and farms, golf, etc) it’s a crime not to have hosts in America’s premier wine region. Basically THE region that America is known for. It’s just extremely disappointing to pay for a app that has nothing to accommodate you. Obviously it’s why they don’t let you see the map before you pay. Feels scamish.

Love the app but love the whole concept! Been seeing so many neat things and meeting so many wonderful people. I’ll be a member for many years. The app makes it so easy to find my next overnight experience and provides plenty of details.

Our first night out paid for our membership. Brilliant idea. Just wish we could add people we meet as friends on the app! We met some cool folks.

We joined Harvest Hosts out of desperation when we couldn’t find a place to stay in Georgia. Since then we have stayed in 2 wineries, a brewery, a salt mine (tourist attraction), and 4 golf courses. The hosts have been very friendly and accommodating. I’m so glad we joined!

This was to be the first use of our membership. I called 3 days in advance of our planned arrival. I planned to as permission to use our generator. I planned to purchase something from our hosts. I was looking forward to camping on an Herb Farm. I left 2 pleasant messages. I have not received a call back. Another disappointment. I need a nickname. I have offered so many and they are all taken. I tried my last name backwards. They say that is taken. Pretty sure that is not true.

We were amazed by staff at these two first class wineries. We spent the night at Toro Run the view is breathtaking and the breeze is refreshing. Woke up to an amazing Sunrise.

My husband & I went to Balic Winery. It was our first harvest host place & the first time we used our RV. We really enjoyed Bo, the owner. He explained all about the winery & the wines. He is very nice. The wines were really good too. We will be coming back again.
