You can also enjoy the benefits of a being a dedicated diarist without the hassle of relying on willpower alone - customisable reminders help you to keep your journal accurate and thorough so nothing gets ignored.

This app helps you to be objective about your emotions (past, present and future) and helps you to make better life decisions. You will realise what is truly influencing your mood and then you'll be able to do something about it.

Everything you write is private. You won't see any 'share my mood on Facebook and Twitter' buttons. For this information to be truly valuable it should be for your eyes only.

If you are changing your life or taking medication then this app is a perfect way to spot any gradual benefits.

Your Happiness journal will be with you for the rest of your life. You can export and back up your data whenever you need to.

Reviews

Nice UI improvements but less capable
sleight42

TL;DR: new UI pretty but less functional. This "2.0" version of Happiness is pleasing to the eye. However, the Analysis capability is generally less capable than the old version. Also, the Analysis screen is somewhat confusing as it now encompasses three different screens that I can left/right drag to. The "journal" feature is good but: (1) let me distinguish between tags and free text on the journal entry. (2) I should be able to edit a journal entry after the fact.

Good but frequent

Overall I really like this app and find the stats useful. I'd swear there's a bug making it alert multiple times per day though. I have more entries than days and it's getting worse.

Neat tool
DangerIV

I find this app interesting. I don't really use the analytics, but I find myself more aware of how I feel. And that's neat.

Interesting and useful tool
sara_g29

I find this to be a very interesting app. If nothing else, it's a good reminder to do some mindfulness meditation every day. The analytics are interesting, but with the limited data I have so far not terribly insightful yet (I've been using the app for about a month now). I'm curious to see what emerge as I continue to use the app.

Happiness

Awesome app!!!

Nope!
Wonderwoman123

This app only rates happiness on a scale from 1-10. What about the other moods? For an app that costs so much they should have added that in.

Amazing app

5 star and highly recommended if you've always wanted to write in a diary yet do not travel with one.

Great app for quick thoughts

This app is a good way to put together reasons for given moods at times throughout the day.

Love it!

Great app! Really helps me to put my emotions in perspective!

Great way to reflect
jwilker

If you're at all into self reflection and personal data this might be a neat app to try. I like the simple question of "how happy am I?"
