Best app for 360 shots, was not disappointed

It is so very easy to use, and actually really stable and reliable. My post editing skills are lacking so stitching together photos was not something I was wanting to learn. This app assures every step of the pano process automated so even I couldn't mess this up.

Tons of bugs

Tobyrosen

Don't risk flying your Mavic with this app! It disconnects repeatedly, doesn't have any telemetry, and the FAQ is incredibly weak. The app fails every time the "battery disconnects" Photos fail to process, and per the FAQ you can't even download the photos. Update your FAQ!

NOT FOR SPARK!!!

91w

Does not support DJI Spark.

Ok for recreational use

Haven't had a chance to use yet (nighttime). However, it is worth noting that they own the copyright of the stitched photo. This is even in their support/FAQ if you didn't fully understand or read the legal stuff (" Can I share my finished 360 photo even though Hangar owns the rights? Of course!")

A little glitchy

Jkuchera

Turned out really good after about 10 failed upload attempts.

Keeps crashing

jsoupene

Program keeps crashing and then kicking me out of program.

Amaze balls!!!

Amazing! I’ve tried other apps and they do not compare. I use the images taken on PTGui and it came out beautiful. I usually don’t do reviews but this was great!

Doesn’t work on Mavic

Rommel0322

I get no camera video. It used to work great.

Worked great with my Spark

As advertised, the Spark took off, reach altitude, took pictures and came down. Uploading and waiting for the 360 to come back took some time (~20 min), but was worth it. Suggestions - serious need for UI improvement. App goes right into connectivity screen, 9 times out of 10 I want to view and show people my 360 and not shot a new one. At least need an entry options of view vs connect - After creating the initial 360 you can choose to share it or generate a URL, if you don’t want to do it at that time there is no way I could find to share or get the URL at a later point. It might be there, but if I can’t find it as a user, it might indicate a UX issue - Please change the license terms in respect to ownership. I’m not as sensitive to your rights on the content (because I fly for fun and not business), but the fact that I don’t have any rights does mean that you can sue me for sharing 360s that I took. I’m sure this is not what you meant, but why put your users in that position? - a very cool (killer) feature to your viewer will be a VR viewing mode (split view) UPDATE A couple of stars down. While being right above me taking 360 shots, the drone disconnected. Had to reset the remote to regain control. Never happens to me with the DJI app so my conclusion was that it was the Hangar app (which was the one active at the time). Might still be something else, but...
