Reviews

Good tool

I like the realtime DX Cluster. Just the FT-857 menu map makes it worth the price. I was able to identify a satellite last night. Good stuff.

Good value an utility

Pretty useful stuff at a reasonable price.

Useful
NDak snow drifter

Useful but small screen makes it difficult to use. I would like to see a version more geared to ipad display.

Very handy!

I was looking for a quick reference for the FT-857 that had both the MF codes & the menu codes. Got lots of other bonuses. The repeater directory is a big plus. Beats lugging around a bunch of books when mobile.

Waste of Money
apper-man

I was very disappointed with this app. Essentially just links to various Internet tools. Info poorly laid out for iPhone screen. You're better off just using the web or shopping elsewhere for a real app. As for the 857 menu tool, I think it's just as useful to scroll through the menus on the radio itself than to try to interpret the table provided.

Love App. Recommend updating band plans for 60 meters. Tnx es 73

Repeater info does not work
Skychip

It would be a useful app if the repeater book worked. But it does not. Not worth the money or the download. Avoid this app.

Not completely functional
Arcanum1

The review from two years ago of the callsign lookup not working is accurate as of 9/2018. It appears that the app has a broken link. This app is a blend of its own static databases (rig settings, Q signals, etc) and links to outside providers for dynamic data such as solar, propagation, DX, etc. Given that the last update was 2 yrs ago, it appears that the author is no longer supporting the app. This is a real shame as it could be a very handy app in the field if all features were functional. For me, it was worth the price just to have the 857D settings on my phone. As long as the call lookup issue isn’t a deal-breaker for you, this app is worth the price.
