Pro user for ~2 years, love it!

Great app, the team behind it is always improving it and putting out updates. I have sync data from RescueTime, Apple Watch and thats enough to make the output pretty interesting and informative.

Great but one issue

ERG1980

If you live in a city and take the subway, the Places and travel mapping can be a little wonky but then again most apps have issues with GPS tracking when you’re underground. Maybe when location accuracy is below a threshold don’t record or mark it in some way?

Disappoints in keys areas

I wanted so much to like the app. I purchased the subscription, which for the monthly price, I can not see how the developers justify it. There is not a lot gained from the pro version. The places portion for the continued use of GPS and large portion of my battery use it is highly off. It will continually tell me that a location is 100+ miles away yet it is down the street. For $9.99 a month I expect an app to wow me and this is far from it. Simply put it pulls all information from other apps and tried to combine them into useful data. With the amount of competition in this area Gyroscrope is grossly overpriced and lacks anything except some mildly okay asthietics. I have cancelled my subscription and because of the extremely ridiculous battery useage see myself deleting it soon.

Great idea but needs some work still

I love the idea and the privacy policy, but the biggest stopper for me so far is battery life. If you have location tracking on this app uses between 25-35% of the battery all the time, basically rendering my phone dead within less than a day every time. Suggest way less frequent tracking or just being able to use eg Apple Watch location data or something.

Is this a scam?

Lot’s of attractive interface but most of the features don’t work. Caveat Emptor.

Finally working great!

Sometime after the last couple of updates the app has started working pretty much perfectly for me. It functions pretty much as a visually attractive “dashboard” that integrates many varied services relating to health. Most interesting to me is the “health score” feature found in the pro version which tries to bring together all the various health statistics into an easy to read summary of your current health status. This transforms the product into something more than just a visual interface. I really look forward to seeing where this app goes in the future.

Small graphics +low vision

Gyroscope app would be more interesting if locations tracked via the new built in “Places” Map were larger. The problem is a lot of the data is presented in in type size too small for people with low vision. The Map looks nice, but you can not zoom in to explore the map details. This is not worth subscription pricing. Enable a zoom or variable type sizing option and i will consider subscribing. Right now i can justify paying for content, i can not see.

I thought about making this app...

...and I'm glad someone did it for me. Gyroscope does a great job of pulling in data from disparate sources and melding it together to produce some insights. The quantified self aspects are very nice, and I actually sprang for the yearly subscription. They need to improve the Places tracking (and may have in this release, haven't tested it yet) as it's a bit of a battery-killer. Also the app could be smarter about learning my commute when I correct it (I take commuter rail) and not assuming I'm driving the same route. Overall I like it, would recommend checking it out even for the free features.

LOVE this app - but can’t get Watch app to install!

Any suggestions? I’ve tried restarting all devices but just doesn’t show up as an option to install!

Apple Watch support

Daver_412

This was advertised to have an Apple Watch app but I have to see anything on my watch. Honestly maybe I’m just missing something but if there is no Apple Watch I’ll pass.
