Charging for exercises that they don’t have listed

XXXJ0hnnyXXX

I just got the new update and now I’m being asked to pay $10 to add lifts that they don’t have preprogrammed. I will be deleting your app for one that actually cares about it customers

Awful

Eelbrood

Not easy to navigate, not intuitive, geek irrational, many standard gym machines and exercises absent, and to use today’s date for an exercise you have to upgrade... that’s truly cheap. Very disappointed. Save yourself the aggravation. Use pencil and paper.

Great

I was so disappointed when gym buddy disappeared but the blessing has been finding Gym Logs plus. I went through 8 or so apps before I found one that had the flexibility I needed. Great app.

Amazing App

This App is amazing! It’s intuitive and full of essential features to keep track of and log your workouts. Super easy to use and customizable to fit your needs. I’ve tried several other workout tracking apps in the past, and by a landslide, this is the best product in the category. Highly recommend it!

The best workout tracking app for Apple Watch

theSoccerDad2

I needed an app that did the following: - Track my weightlifting progress in the gym - Have an Apple Watch option that would allow me to keep my phone in the locker as I tracked progress during my workout - Interact with Apple health This app is absolute perfection and, when I had questions, the support team was quick and provided solutions. Getting the Apple Watch 3, I wanted to be able to leave my phone behind so I am less distracted. The Apple Watch Gym Log+ app allows me to pull up my workouts and log my sets/reps. It even shows the history of my previous workouts so I know which weights to start out with. When finished, the app syncs with Apple Health and my progress is tracked. I don’t need a fitness app that has a lot of fluff and predefined workout regimes. I need something that’s robust and effective. And if Gym Log+ doesn’t have a specific workout, it’s easy to add one and assign it to any workout based on muscle grouping. This is easily a 5 Star app and the best weight lifting workout app for the Apple Watch.

Really disappointed I paid for the premium

I went ahead and purchased the upgrade before using the app because I was trying to build a routine and wanted access to more exercises. Entering anything into the app is cumbersome , though and not something you want to stop and do in the middle of an exercise, especially if you’re tracking more than one person. I’ve tried using the watch app and after getting home I learned that nothing was recorded to the app. Also there is a start and end button for your workout which sounds simple but can get confusing. Once I end a workout for a given day I shouldn’t be able to restart it again without some sort of “Hey, you’ve already done this” kind of message. It sounds trivial but I’ve noticed I’ve inadvertently hit the Resume after ending a session only to find the timers are running in the background until I check it again. It throws off all of the timing for your workout if you go to review them and is just unfortunate design. Either way, there’s a decent list of exercises and the $10 is sunk cost so I guess I can reference it if I don’t know how to do something and need static sketch to show me how. Still searching for the right App.

Exactly what I wanted

True Bador

i downloaded about 12 lifting apps and tried them all. i was ready to settle on a couple that did a decent job of helping me track my workouts, but when i tried this one, deleted them all. even the free version of this app was more powerful and flexible than all the other apps, and it had the exact features i was looking for. i can track stats, configure my workouts, set different timers, set freaking bell for my intervals so i'm not constantly looking at my watch, add exercises, use my own reference images if i want… and to top it off, the app keeps improving and the creator is responsive. i've told every one of my lifting friends about this app. good job.

Good but a problem with the timer

Takwaun

The app is great for following your workouts especially if you make your own routine. I AM however having a problem with the timer on the app. It never stops if you do a set and hit end at 9am and then come back to complete your workout at 11am it will still add in the 2 hour gap. PLEASE FIX

Garbage

This may be the most cumbersome, unworkable app I’ve ever encountered. You’re better off using a notebook and pencil than this godawful mess.

The best workout assistant I’ve found so far!

robfuzz

What matters to me with an app like this, for how I work out now, it has to have an Apple Watch app, sync with an iPad version, and offer a good selection of dumbbell workouts. The Watch app is great cause it has built in rest times and alerts you to when they’re up. One less thing I have to think about. Syncing with an iPad app where I can get a better lay of the land re me workout plan is great. If I had a wish for improvement it would be a simple quick animation on the Watch app for form for each exercise like a few other apps offer.
