Gun Log SPC

First, the app does not collect, mine, harvest or do anything with your data. Firearm information is just as sensitive as your social security number or credit card information. This also means the app does use sync technology to access your data while the sync process moves data between your iOS devices.

Second, the app has a passcode. It is activated by using the iOS Settings App.

"No more paper and pen at the range!" Gun Log SPC is a range log that tracks your firearms, ammunition, and results at the range. You can discover which ammo is most accurate or has the fewest failures, how many rounds you have fired, and how much ammunition is on hand. But wait, there's more! There is a G1 external ballistics calculator that estimates bullet drop, PDF reports that include photos of your firearm or target, and much more.

Before you buy please go to the Developer Website and read about the App. The link is listed in the App Store. This app is not a simple list but instead an app that logs range results, ammo usage, firearms, ballistic drop tables, and has reports that allow you to analyze your shooting, firearms and ammunition, and improve your ability and to know what ammunition is reliable and accurate. You do not have to use all of the functionality, but it is there when you need it. Don’t let the low price fool you, this is a very complete range log and inventory app!

Gun Log SPC stores firearm inventory, ammunition inventory, and shooting results with the ability to export your information through copy/paste, email, or printing of text reports.

Units are only in U.S. yards and inches. There is no metric or other measurement system support.

So far it’s perfect
Dink's Tunes

This is exactly what I was looking for and it’s super easy to use. The app makes it simple to log weapons and ammo, as well as a lot of other data I don’t use it for. Thanks for the great app. I’m still waiting for the catch. Lol

Best app I have found.
ETL.3moa

Very intuitive and complete to use. Have even uploaded pictures from my albums. A gem.

Works well

I enjoyed using this app, allowed me to put all my firearm info in one place. The only thing I’d like to see added is reloading equipment and supplies. Right now I have it under accessories. Knowing quantity and type of reloading supplies I have on hand as well as tracking press, dies, etc would be nice. Thanks for the app, it has helped me.

Best Guns/Ammo database app around
Paat777

Have tried several. This app is the best. Like the photo integration. I’ve been using this app for several years and appreciate that the developer hasn’t left us abandoned when major iOS updates occur. Dream list App is able to work natively on the new M1 Macs. Sure would be easier to type with a keyboard of a desktop to enter data. And along with that be able to easily backup file on desktop. (Yes I use the backup feature already with iTunes). As a Desktop app it would be even more outstanding. Take photo of ammo. Ammo box. Some brands have names very similar. It would be cool to take photo of box for clarity. Can live without the two above. The app is awesome as is. Just wishing. Especially the ammo photo. Maybe it would be the easier to deliver. Thanks for your hard work. PS. Ive gifted this app to friends and family because it’s so awesome.

Great App
Streetglide2008

Works great for record keeping of your firearms. Has enough extra features that I will never use them all. Only negative I see is I wish there was an easy way to backup my files to a thumb drive without having to go through iTunes.

Measure Groups?
TheresATractorInMyBallsAgain

I like the app but... I wish it were possible to measure group size on target images imported into the app.

New to shooting....great free app
cjpme09

I am a newbie when it comes to shooting. I think this is a great app to keep track of your range sessions and ammo allowing you to track inventory even down to lot#s. I also like to track failures I have with a certain gun/ammo combo . Probably more data points here than I will likely use, but they are there if I want to start using them down the road. Great features for a free app in my opinion.

Great app for keeping track.

I’ve been using this app for quite some time and it really came in handy a few years ago. I live in Paradise, California, which. Suffered the tragic Camp Fire in Nov. of 2018. Our home was one of the lucky few that survived in town. We suffered some damage but everything finally got repaired. I didn’t have time to take my guns during the initial evacuation but later returned to get them because I was not able to secure my home. I work at a local gun range and was allowed to store my guns in their vault, with the proviso that I submit the make, model, serial #, and detail of each gun. I printed up my list from GunLog SPC and showed it to them. They accepted it and attached it with their paperwork for storage. I saved myself about 5 hours of writing and was able to store them until the repairs were done and my home was once again secure.

Pretty Decent
T-Mills59

The app overall is pretty decent. Some of the interface screen are not laid out the best and it’s a hassle navigating through them. Two things I would like to see is: - Ability to assign multiple calibers to a gun (i.e. 5.56 and .223) so that all calibers show up when you input firing sessions - Seeing individual purchase data for ammo so you can track the cost per box of ammo over time instead of just showing you how much is on hand and the total cost Overall pretty decent for a free app, but I would like to see some update and changes.

Excellent Log to Track Everything Gun
Sonic Dream

I’m usually disappointed by the features or quality of free apps. This one’s different. I use it all the time to track, manage, and reference my guns and ammo. No running to the safe, opening it, and checking on some specific feature or accessory. I have everything logged here where it’s easy to get to. If pushed, sure there are a couple of things I’d like to see, like being able to set the default settings for session parameters so I don’t have to re-scroll to get to them, but overall it’s really an excellent and simple app that I know I can rely on whenever I need it. Developer: Thanks for everything you put into this.
