Gun Log

First, the app does not collect, mine, harvest or do anything with your data. Firearm information is just as sensitive as your social security number or credit card information. This also means the app does use sync technology to access your data while the sync process moves data between your iOS devices.

Second, the app has a passcode. It is activated by using the iOS Settings App.

"Paper and pen at the range? Unnecessary. Gun Log lets you store all your firearm data…", American Warrior, issue Number 5.

Gun Log tracks firearms, ammunition, configurations, failures, rounds fired, costs, accessories, etc., and even can calculate a ballistics drop table.

Gun Log will never allow email to access the data, use printing, or use cloud storage, just as promised. Many users are careful about where their private data is stored and Gun Log was made for those. It was promised that those features would never be added and that is the way it will be. Please be aware of this policy, it has always been this way.

Units are only in U.S. yards and inches. There is no metric or other measurement system support.

Before you buy please go to the Developer Website and read about the App. The link is listed in the App Store. This app is not a simple list but instead an app that logs range results, ammo usage, firearms, ballistic drop tables, and has reports that allow you to analyze your shooting, firearms and ammunition, and improve your ability and to know what ammunition is reliable and accurate. You do not have to use all of the functionality, but it is there when you need it. Don’t let the low price fool you, this is a very complete range log and inventory app!

Gun Log

I’ve been looking for this for a while. This program is VERY THOROUGH, and super easy to use and backup. Best choice I’ve made for an ap since I got my iPhone.

What a Gun Log App
MiraMesaDave

I’m a gun builder and this App has all the elements I want to capture to see the service life of my weapon so I san make intelligent decisions on when to change parts because of rounds fired, etc.

Extensive features with an emphasis on privacy

If all you do is eat and dream firearms this app will keep you engaged. I use only a small portion of its features but it is easy and intuitive, even for a mechanical engineer nearing the end of his career. No need for me to look further. This is a great app. Highly recommended!

Great app

This is the best log I’ve found. Keeps information about the gun and ammo, and allows you to take pictures from the app.

I was able to accomplish entering my inventory of both my firearms and ammunition, I would like to make a suggestion to add a barcode reader for the ammunition;-)

Great App!

Great app and it’s very useful, but it needs to be updated to the new iPhones. ?

Great app! One minor suggestion

Love the app but would add a barcode scanner for ammo types and accessories. Scan the barcode and all the specs of the ammo and/or accessory could b updated...just sayin!

Great Application Highly reccomended!

What an awesome application! I have been using it constantly since last July. It has been my shooting companion every time I shoot! I use it to log my firearms, ammo and photos of my targets. It has been great to keep notes on my progress either with shooting development or ammo accuracy. I can't say enough of how useful this program is! I have purchased all three of this developers applications and they are all excellent. I was having some technical issues and the developer quickly fixed the problem. Don't even think about it purchase this app immedaitley!

Possible improvement

I really like the app. Works well for inventory of guns, only con is the cancel button is live all the time and very close to picture button, have had on more than one occasion to slightly miss the picture button and lose all the recorded info on that gun. My suggestion would be add a second command to cancel and move the cancel button further away from picture button. Thanks, great product, have recommended it to several shooting buddies.

Great application, great support !!

I bought the application after checking it out and on a friends recommendation. Being the security conscious person that i am i quickly enabled the password feature, but in my hast i managed to lock myself out. I sent off a quick email to support thinking it would be a day or so before i would hear anything back. However this was not the case. Within an hour of my submitting the request, not only did i get a response, but had a working solution for my issue. Now that's service !!! I've been slowly adding in each of my items and i really like the layout and ease of use. Its not an app i use everyday but it is nice knowing that i have up to date info on my firearms should i need immediate access to serial numbers.
