Perfect for a visual learner!

Danakin186

Finally a guitar app I can work with, this is the visual experience I require. I have the wireless Fretlight and this is perfect for me, I use this on my iPhone 7 Plus. Used the free 3-day trial and I was hooked. I can choose from what seems to be a great list of guitar songs to learn. I am able to play at 100% speed or slow this right down. I LOVE that I can select a certain part of the song and have it loop over and over at what ever speed I want to really perfect that particular part. Impressive app, I will definitely be sticking with it whilst Im learning to play!

No way to play your own music?

The come-on looked good. Slow down any song, etc. Except you have to buy it from them at $2/pop and more. No. Very deceptive promo.

Easy To Create An Account and Jam Away

The guys at Fretlight Guitars have done it again! What a great app to work stand alone or with a wireless Fretlight guitar. Never seen anything like this with the real songs and artists rather than midi imitations. The ability to slow the song down is amazing. It really helps with getting the fingering. I'll be using this app for a long time. Highly recommended!

Ripped Off

As an early subscriber I prepaid $30 for one year use and access to some really great tunes. I can understand the problems with copyrights, but where does that leave my $30?? Certainly would be nice to get a refund since the "contract" between me and Guitar Tunes was broken by Guitar Tunes themselves. I can only imagine they made a bundle off of me and hundreds of others. I want my money back. A company that takes someone's money and doesn't fulfill there part of a deal are nothing more than thieves. This is an outrage!!

This App Rocks!!!

This is hands down the best app for learning songs on guitar. Slowing down and looping fast riffs with this app has helped me a ton! It also makes learning the chord progressions really easy. I can't recommend this app enough!

Awesome!! but... ?

The app now has all of my previously purchased video lessons transferred from the old Video Player app. Thank you!! This app does the same thing and a lot more that the Fretlight Video player and Chords and Scales app does all in one. The interface is awesome!! But I hope that there is a way to restore already purchased lessons from the video player app to this one... if so, I will rate it 5 stars.

A revolution in guitar auto-didacticism!

Guitar Autodidact

This app in conjunction with the Fretlight guitar is the most practical system for learning how to play tunes. I just learned a song in 30 mins, which with older tab based systems the learning time would have been extensively longer. This is a revolution for guitar auto-didacticism, as you could be sitting in a field or a sidewalk and all you need is a Fretlight guitar and this app - no wires, no power required. This is absolutely amazing! Thank you!

FANTASTIC!

This app has helped me learn how to play a guitar so fast! I love it??

Ridiculous!

Who is going to pay $1.99-$12.99 for this content? there's no descriptions on exactly what is in the lesson, so I should just drop $2 or $5 or $13 to try it? NOT A CHANCE! Time to delete this one and back to YouTube for free content... I hope folks boycott this RIDICULOUS app - the pricing for content is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Reply to Dev: Great response but unfortunately you've just priced yourself out of the market - IMHO BTW I own a FG621 and think the guitar is great and use it as a practice tool for scale practice and do already know how to play... This is a steep price for beginners, why not a subscription model that's more affordable? 2nd reply Sorry to stay on this, but not sure who provided negative feedback on subscription content as I have had this app since original release and certainly was not included in the feedback loop! So my bet is biz model and marketing is wrong here. I guess folks will vote with dollars as they usually do. I'll see you at GearFest this year again and give you my feedback directly in the booth. I bought my FG621 based on playing there. Maybe folks are already voting with dollars and you're making millions off of this... my best guess is that you're not, as I know I'm not willing to spend three bucks on a single song. I'd say provide some vouchers for content eval or provide free weekend to prove how good the tracks are just to build momentum. Sorry, IMHO great idea with good execution but will not fly because of pricing model... But maybe I'm not your demographic. Certainly am keeping an open mind, but economics are driving my perspective - and still not willing to part with my dollars, I think you need to rethink this one.

Interesting..

From $2 -$15 , what do I get for $3 , $9 ,$15 ??? Such a high cost too find out if app is good or not. What about AC/DC & Black Sabbath , Metallica, songs? ... didn't see them.. Can you video it on how app all works ? The play button on your profile pic don't do anything..
