Need to make video for bass guitar
acoustic.henry

I have 3 bass 3 electric guitar 2 acoustic from fretlight and I get confused because the app doesn’t have for bass guitar ?‍♂️

Horrible execution

If your goal is to get new players then you have failed miserably. Signed a form requires a password that is extremely overbearing. And the sign-up form requires you to use an online website to sign up and it doesn't even function correctly. If you check the checkbox when using an iPhone it pops up a screen that you can't do anything with but when you close it the check box is not checked you're stuck in repeating cycle you can't get out of. I couldn't even use the app. Ultra fail.

This is stupid

Okay so I see this awesome add on Facebook. About this guitar tunes app. Being a new guitarist I thought awesome! This will fast forward my learning. Right? Not the case. I downloaded it on my iPad, and the first screen I see wants me to log in! It ask for email, and password. So I try putting in my email address and password. Nope that wasn't right. So becoming frustrated at not being able to do anything with this app. Because I can't get past this log in screen. I hit the only other option I have witch is contact us. That's where I get an automated email response providing me with a link to create an account. Now I'm getting somewhere! Or so I thought. I fill out the proper field's to get an account setup. Only to realize they want money. I should have figured. So I only gave it one star. Only because I had to to submit this

Let me pay for the so.

I don't have any problem paying for apps. I understand the time and cost of development. I will gladly pay $5.99 $6.99 or even more for a quality app that I know I will use. But downloading a free app and then requesting to go to an external website to set up an account with billing is not the way to win the hearts and minds of consumers. Bad first step. Fail.

You take out front page add in magazine...

... and your app doesn't at all work. What a waste of your advertising money. (See December 2016 issue of Guitar magazine, 4th ad from opening the magazine.) I'm starting to think that your app is a phishing scam. Be careful people. If it turns out that this is actually a functional application, and does what the screenshots show, then you should fire your whole design team. Their work on the initial experience after downloading the app was a waste of time and money. The experience will put off 9 out of 10 of your potential customers.

I did bother to go to the website to complete the log on. This also needs to be redone. Did not care for the process. The program itself is not put together very well. It was supposed to be on line in summer , according to the early ads in Guitar Player magazine but did not come out till fall. With the extra time to release it still does not work well. The volume did not work on my iPhone 6 Plus, changing songs was difficult and the looping system is not that user friendly. I'm very disappointed in this program after all the Ad hype they put into it. The developer should have spent the time and money to develop the program instead of a great advertising campaign. Great program concept, lousy app. Wait a year or two for later generations of this program.?

Not bad but could be better
Joeglow428

At first glance, Wow, but there are some disappointments. I thought the app would convert any song but that's not the case, it's a library of chosen songs by the developers. That was a let down. I've had no problems with volume or changing songs as some others have described. The plus is that it's pretty accurate on some of the songs I've followed along with. If you could add a song from your own library and get a transcription that would make this app the best aid ever.

Excellent

This works for me. One reviewer said there wasn't any sound. Mine was like that to until I thought to go to settings and unmute the iPad. Works as advertised now. Will there be more songs added to the library over time? Will we be able to request songs to be added? I really like this app and I hope the library grows!

Uninstalled it immediately.

I was anxious to try this app after seeing the two page spread advertised in Guitar World 2016 issue. Searching for "Guitar Tunes" in the app store only reveals a 2013 competitor's app. I had to do to their website, and find the app link there. But first they wanted me to "Sign Up" before downloading the app. So I clicked on "Sign Up First", and it TOOK ME TO THE ITUNES APP. So I downloaded it. Upon opening, it asks you to "log in with your account info". Not "Create an account". I tired going BACK to their website to click Sign Up First AGAIN. Took me to the app again. Immediately uninstalled the app. If this is the kind of run around you get TRYING TO BECOME A USER, forget it. I'll stick with Rocksmith and Justin Guitar thank you.
