For guitar input you need one of the following:
-If you are using an acoustic guitar:
- An internal or external computer microphone
If you are using an electric guitar:
- An adapter like Fender Slide
- OR a small, clean amp that is loud enough for the device's microphone to pick up
Headphones are recommended when using an acoustic guitar.

This seems like a great app but I have to close the app after each and every time I complete a lesson. Very frustrating. Please fix!!

This app would be great on a computer if they offered alot of content. That's why I gave it 3 stars. But why would I buy this app without first seeing what songs are available? I wouldn't ...

Changed the format again? It seems like every time the format changes it gets worse and certain songs seem to disappear. Now I just tried using it and when I hit play nothing happens......it is now unusable. Get it right! This could be a great app if you just left it alone......or get people who actually know what they are doing!

Before you charge people for content you should probably work the many bugs out of the app. What little does Work seems like the app would be an effective learning tool. Fix it then I may take this app seriously.
Bought the CD download (but laptop is sidelined)

Bought the cd download version. No longer have a computer though. Got the app thinking I could enter my download code possibly. Disappointed to say the least with this app. This app is wack. I can’t even get past the “enter your username” phase in the set up. It gets confused as to wether it’s asking me for a username or email. I get the impression that the developers don’t give a flying **** about user experience. GET IT TOGETHER ROCK PRODIGY! Act like you give a **** That is all.

I really liked this app now unusable with purchased content. Hope you fix the app so it works on the newer iOS.

I love this app! I have been using it for some time and I never get board from it. There are always lessons, exercises, and milestones to complete. I love the new layout. It is much easier to to find the next step. Their customer support is also great! They answered all my questions very promptly. I tested the app on the IPad 2, IPad Mini, and the IPhone. It works great on all devices. I am not sure why people are saying they had to pay twice for it. If you have a problem just contact customer support! They are very helpful!
