I’ve been using GTasks Pro across multiple iOS devices and MacOS machines for a few years. Great to have a dedicated app! Great to have sub tasks! And it puts a superior UI on top of Google’s tasks capability. But syncing across devices is not super reliable, resulting in a race condition across mobile and desktop. And the app could use some usability updates, like not popping up reminders upon first entry...especially when you enter from a Haptic Touch action to create a new task. It also creates redundant task categories when you reinstall or install on new devices and sync. I suggest evaluating the free version first.
I have been using the non-pro app for years. The pro upgrade is just right, enabling me to sync with other devices!

I am sending this bug report / support request via review because the app support link gives no immediately visible way to talk to anyone. When I make changes to my tasks including updating the order of tasks in google tasks on my computer and then switch to my phone and this app, after taking a surprising amount of time to “think” it doesn’t keep the order. Hitting refresh doesn’t work, ‘touching the task’ on my computer doesn’t make this app correct the issue and move it to the correct position in the app. The only way that seems to work is to delete the task and try again or move it in this app. This is frustrating because I frequently switch between the two apps and when basic changes to one aren’t reflected in the other... I mean that’s one of the basic functions of this app is it not? I remember from a few years ago when I used this last time this same thing happened and it’s why I switched to a different app. Since that app stopped syncing with google I am looking for another solution so I tried this paid one again and it’s both surprising to find several years later that this app suffers from a basic synchronization bug. I’d very much appreciate you fixing it. Oh also I don’t like the way tasks are added, by taking me to a whole new screen. If prefer to add them on a line of the list while able to see the other tasks around it and then if I want to go add details like priority and due date, etc. I can just deal with this thing I don’t like but wanted to give you feedback anyway since I’m bothering to write this review. The first issue is still going to eventually force me to look for another app. Please fix it
