App is crap

The worst app of its kind. Crashes nonstop, messages don't go through, constant spammers, have to manually close the app and reopen every time to get it to work for 2 mins before messages stop working again.

I've been using Grindr since the iPhone 3G, and I have to say, it has been and remains to be the best Gay-Dating app out there. For guys who say that Grindr hasn't had any improvements since it came out, that is absurd. There have been so many improvements, and so many upgrades in the past year alone. Comparing Grindr to other gay dating apps on the App Store, Grindr is the absolute best app out there. Now, guys criticize that there are occasional bugs and issues, but he should understand that Grindr doesn't have the funding of sites like Google and Facebook (or other paid dating sites). Also, when bugs and issues are found, Grindr always fixes them as soon as they can. Especially those who are using the free version, I don't get why you are so criticizing. It is a free app, how can you complain when it's not perfect? Anyway, all-in-all, I would definitely recommend Grindr to any gay man. It is definitely worth it.

Single handedly ruining monogamy and the ideal of finding love. This app needs some kind of real policing and age control. There are too many underage kids on the app and Grindr is the main cause of statutory rape. With no real demand for photos or an age or photo checker fake accounts are becoming more and more of an issue and just giving us more blocks for 15 bucks doesn't save people from getting raped. This app got me raped and I just hate what this a stands for.

Grindr used to be great. Now with all the bots, unreliable messaging system, and the fact that the guys won't load when I open the app half the time. There are better apps out there, but this one has the most guys. But sometime you just have to draw the line.
Bugs, bots, crashes

Really poor in terms of reliability. It's happened multiple times where the server will go down on a Busy night, tons of bots sending spam links. Great potential, horrible execution.

Messages never send. Always takes 10minutes to send one messages and it's pathetic.
